I mainly dealt with Greg, who is personable, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They managed to get my house sale through in good time in a very tricky market, well done guys! We were very happy with the service and will not hesitate to recommend them to any of our friends or family.

2nd Jun 2023 (11 mo. ago)I was very disappointed with the lack of any interest in my property. I was constantly told that sales in the area were virtually nil, and to reduce the price, this brought no more interest at all to the table. I decided to take my property off the market, at least until my contract time with Chewton rose is up.

10th May 2024 (5 days ago)Holly was professional and very knowledgeable of property in the Tiptree area. Originally priced the property above the recommended value had 16 viewing that David Martin undertook. Communications by phone and email were good keeping us in the picture. They obtained the buyer and communicated well during the negotiation process.

19th Jan 2024 (17 weeks ago)If I could give no stars, I would. This company is absolutely disgraceful from lying, time wasting, absolutely no communication and complete forgery. They took a holding deposit from us TWICE, the first time saying the tenants weren't moving to then upload it again under a different house number and ignore the emails regarding this but happy to take the deposit again, a holding deposit should secure the flat while the relevant checks are done, however when we noticed the flat was back on rightmove with NO COMMUNICATION again, we of course questioned this to which Bartlett and Hammond admitted they had given it to another couple, so they took a holding deposit which literally means to hold the property and NOT let others view it and apply. None of which makes sense considering they reposted it online, you'd think all the time they save not doing their job properly they could at least come up with a better lie. Now if you ever do get a response from these guys (like getting fire from ice) it will be the most informal and rude email you will ever receive. Do not use these guys unless you like your time wasted, money taken and being lied to.

(2 reviews)5th May 2023 (1 year ago)Very disappointing… they didn’t vet the viewers carefully enough and had a lot of time wasters . Marketing of the property was such that offers were coming in way below what the property was worth. When I asked them to take the property off the market it took them days to take it off Rightmove and they still haven’t been round to collect the For Sale sign or indeed return the spare set of keys we lent them .
