I found them to be very professional and efficient and kept me informed from the initial set up and viewings. They found a buyer within a month. They are now in the proceeds of finding a buyer for another home.

30th Mar 2025 (14 weeks ago)Avoid at all costs. Poor communications, excuse after excuse, I went to another estate agent around the corner and sold my house within 2 weeks after many months trying with Rise. The solicitors they use are equally as bad and con artists. Very, very poor firm.

Honestly, house hunting can be a bit of a nightmare, but they made it genuinely smooth and way less stressful, and a huge part of that was down to Stacy! Stacy was very helpful throughout the whole process. She was super clear with all the details, so I always knew exactly what was going on, and she was always, always quick to get back to me whenever I had a question.

They have guided me through every step of the process and provided amazing support. Every person I have dealt with has been very helpful, courteous and friendly at all times and were always willing to 'go the extra mile' to help. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Excellent service! ** Update, May 2025 ** I have used Ben Charles again to help me sell my property and, once again, they were absolutely brilliant. Very courteous at all times, responding to queries promptly, providing clear help and, overall, a joy to work with. Great people!

From start to finish, they were trustworthy, professional, and incredibly reassuring during what can be a very stressful time. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they always made time for our questions and concerns. A massive thank you to both Aidan and James – they were always at the end of the phone when we needed them. Their knowledge of the local market and industry is second to none, and they really helped keep us calm and confident throughout the whole process. And a big shoutout to Jennifer, the owner, who runs a fantastic business with a real personalised touch. It’s clear she cares deeply about her clients and her team. Thanks to them, we’re now in our dream home. We honestly couldn’t recommend them more – if you’re buying or selling, you’ll be well looked after.
18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

For the first time, I truly felt like an estate agent had my back and was acting in my best interest. She went above and beyond, even doing work I didn’t realise estate agents typically do, like compiling a report to justify the property’s value. That level of commitment was a world away from what I’ve experienced before. The photography, videos, and the listing on Rightmove were exceptional. Things are moving quickly and smoothly and Sina always gives me an update without me reaching out. Hands down the best estate agent I’ve ever dealt with.

One aspect I particularly appreciated was their consistent availability by phone and their willingness to assist promptly — a refreshing change from past experiences where reaching agents or receiving timely responses was often challenging. The staff at Northwood were friendly, professional, and always ready to address my queries, liaise with the seller, and coordinate with solicitors.
