If I were selling a property and sale agreement was not finalised I would not want other interested parties to be brushed off without even an offer to take details in case offer falls through. If a property is not available to purchase then remove it show it as under offer or unavailable to save wasting peoples time

Constant and regular communication throughout the whole process. Excellent customer service I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

23rd May 2025 (24 days ago)I didn't know that much about Northwood only that I had seen their For Sale boards up around areas of the city. So we decided to give them a go.From the first meeting we had at their Doncaster office we were quietly impressed with their professionalism and the local knowledge. And all the way through the sale they have kept us up-to-date with happenings. We would advise anyone who is thinking of buying or selling their property to give them ago , you won't be disappointed. 1st class.
1st Jul 2023 (1 year ago)I never leave bad reviews but this one is warranted. I would have given 2 stars but as a landlord and owner of a property, I had to remember I was paying these people. I must commend them for at least following through with what was required of them but that was the least. The correspondence was abysmal regarding time. I would send Omega an email and I would get a response after I remind them of the initial email at least another 3 times. I believe they had a hidden relationship between the tenants and covertly prolonged a request to empty the property to benefit the tenant. An example of this was making excuses for the tenant being on holiday. After contacting Omega on the day they had told me the tenant had returned, they said the tenant was on holiday again. Constant reminders to remind this tenant was ignored and then they posted a picture of the notice to the tenant to vacate the property. They made little effort to contact the tenant and lacked foresight, which led to a break in because they had left a notice outside informing every passerby that the property was empty. So many emails of mine to Omega consisted of "I have not had a response from you yet regarding.." The staff here are just generally slow at thinking. I had someone pick up the keys to my property from them, and Omega required ID and contact. Omega was given a business card, and they photocopied it and gave it back. The purpose of a business card is to hand it out. Why was it photocopied. I'm very patient and I'm used to very little or poor service. The majority of my reviews are above 4 stars. Unfortunately it's the complete experience that was a let down.

They had 3 viewers, all local and I had to show 2 of them round the property myself. I moved to another agent and had an offer and had significantly more interest, viewings and offers within a month. I think Martin and co target lettings much more than sales and the difference shows when comparing their listings with another agent

Sold newly built houses , Sold renovated properties Manage a very large property portfolio for me. (also can arrange repairs carried out at reasonable costs too)
12th Jan 2021 (4 years ago)Awful company! I rent through a different estate agents but the building I live in is managed by Craven Wildsmith. They send the most unprofessional people who look like they're on day-release from somewhere or doing community service. Swearing, shouting, urinating in the communal gardens and make sexual remarks to the tenants living there. A bit worried to leave my home unattended when they're around in case they break in and steal anything - I wouldn't trust them. They send window cleaners, gardeners, maintenance people without any notice. Being on the ground floor and working nights, this is a recipe for disaster! Being woken up by leaf blowers, strimmers etc. after working all through the night. Also, during day shifts I am working from home, it's not ideal for me to be taking calls from customers with people swearing and shouting outside. Not all of us in the building are renters, some are home owners who aren't paying towards this either which is another issue. Absolutely no respect for the people living in the buildings. These are peoples homes not just a commercial building.

(12 reviews)9th Oct 2020 (4 years ago)Had a viewing arranged at 2pm today. Turned up 10 minutes early and there was another couple also waiting at the property.. 5 minutes later another couple also turned up to view the property. Found this to be unacceptable for us to either be expected to view the property all at the same time with the current pandemic, or for us to have to wait outside while the other couples each viewed the property. One couple found this to be unacceptable and left immediately, the other couple then left at 14:10 as the lady who worked for Craven Wildsmith was late. At 14:15 we called the estate agent to tell them we too were leaving.. We had no call to tell us they would be late, or how late they would be. They arranged a group viewing during a pandemic, or expected us to wait outside. If this is the level of customer service at the first viewing, I dread to think how they would be when it came to needing a boiler fixed, wanting a deposit returned or just any general complaint.

4th Jun 2025 (12 days ago)I am absolutely disgusted with Bettermove!! They offered to buy my house for a fixed price, having deducted 20%! Which is what I told them I wanted a 'quick' sale. They offered of 2 options. Or, they said they could market it for a month AND actually LIED and stated they HAD investors INTERESTED in MY property!! Within a week I realised they had NO investors!! So, when the 'month' was up I asked if they would buy the house for the price they had stated instead. They said they would take a FURTHER 20% off AGAIN!!! Had they told me this would happen in the first place I would've just sold it to them!!! AND, in the process, they have DEVALUED the market value of my house!!! I think its absolutely disgusting that they seem to act without any conscience. They lie and are not up front with what the options really are. They have set my house selling back by possibly years now!! If there were an Ombundsman or official way to report them I would do so!
27th May 2025 (20 days ago)Started the process of selling my house after speaking to Adam. He was very understanding and guided me the whole way, until it was handed over to their sales team who kept me updated on any progress made. Good communication feom everyone I spoke to.
