Absolutely appalling treatment as a tenant.
I was resident in a flat rented out by Moss Properties for two years and the only thing I have found out this company is good for is taking your money, and purposefully ignoring your emails and requests.
Myself and the co-tenant were left without heating for 6 months, had a faulty fridge freezer for a year, and the last three months had no washing facilities for clothes, although I appreciate its not Moss Properties responsibility to replace these appliances as it is the landlords we never once had any update on the fault process's, despite numerous phone calls and emails asking for an update which we were promised on every occasion and yet nothing was said back.
I personally have lost count on how many of my emails were left ignored. I even rang in to make a formal complaint that again was totally disregarded. I have never been treated in such an appalling manner by a business that relies on customer satisfaction, to which I have absolutely none.
Once myself and the Co-tenant decided to leave the property we were instructed to post the keys back to the company on recorded delivery with no re-imbursement costs. Upon asking for the bond back, after four weeks of unanswered emails and empty promises over the phone, I had an email saying it had been sent to a bank account that doesn't exist.
The staff employed at Moss Properties also seem to be incompetent and the management even worse, although they do come across as friendly and willing to help and assist with your enquires they have absolutely no clue what they are doing it would seem. When we became insistent that something needed to be done the staff did turn quite matter of factly and blunt, again showing disregard for customer satisfaction. If I could give minus stars I would. Do not use Moss Properties for anything.
