The team at Hunter’s Barnsley are a fantastic team and really can’t do enough for you. Queries and calls are answered promptly, they take the hassle out of selling. I would highly recommend them.

4th Apr 2024 (19 days ago)Had a place in Rotherham town centre, dealing with Carly and Josh specifically at BRH. The moving out report had them trying to charge me for cleaning and damages that were there from the original time of moving in, even when the same damages were they from the day I moved in. Wouldn't recommend as they're job is to get the money from you, and have no further reasoning. From independent adjudication the moving out costs was more than halved than what flatfair and BRH had proposed.

There was no service and ended my contract prior to the expiry day with no fees because of their poor service. AVOID!

1st Jul 2023 (9 mo. ago)I never leave bad reviews but this one is warranted. I would have given 2 stars but as a landlord and owner of a property, I had to remember I was paying these people. I must commend them for at least following through with what was required of them but that was the least. The correspondence was abysmal regarding time. I would send Omega an email and I would get a response after I remind them of the initial email at least another 3 times. I believe they had a hidden relationship between the tenants and covertly prolonged a request to empty the property to benefit the tenant. An example of this was making excuses for the tenant being on holiday. After contacting Omega on the day they had told me the tenant had returned, they said the tenant was on holiday again. Constant reminders to remind this tenant was ignored and then they posted a picture of the notice to the tenant to vacate the property. They made little effort to contact the tenant and lacked foresight, which led to a break in because they had left a notice outside informing every passerby that the property was empty. So many emails of mine to Omega consisted of "I have not had a response from you yet regarding.." The staff here are just generally slow at thinking. I had someone pick up the keys to my property from them, and Omega required ID and contact. Omega was given a business card, and they photocopied it and gave it back. The purpose of a business card is to hand it out. Why was it photocopied. I'm very patient and I'm used to very little or poor service. The majority of my reviews are above 4 stars. Unfortunately it's the complete experience that was a let down.

Michelle and Hannah worked extremely hard always keeping us updated throughout the process from start to finish sometimes out of normal working hours a boutique service to which we would highly recommend. Thanks again and keep up the hard work.
22nd Nov 2021 (2 years ago)I instructed Kerrigans to act as my agent to rent my mothers property due to her being admitted into Residential Care. They have acted with the utmost professionalism, organised and project manager the necessary upgrades and kept me informed during the modernisation. The process of finding suitable Tenants as been seamless. i would highly recommend them. Thanks Anthony, Zoe & Victoria.
16th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)Communication was poor, with only one viewing in the 6 month period I was on the market with property hive. The second agent was pleasant and reassured me when I contacted her that she was promoting my property, though we saw no results over the 6 month period other than one viewing. The first had severely lacking communication skills, though I did switch agents when requested. When I first joined nobody let me know we had ‘gone live’ after me requesting we hold the property for a week for a variety of reasons. Overall I felt brushed off and that my house wasn’t important to them. I wouldn’t recommend.

Sold newly built houses , Sold renovated properties Manage a very large property portfolio for me. (also can arrange repairs carried out at reasonable costs too)
18th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
12th Jan 2021 (3 years ago)Awful company! I rent through a different estate agents but the building I live in is managed by Craven Wildsmith. They send the most unprofessional people who look like they're on day-release from somewhere or doing community service. Swearing, shouting, urinating in the communal gardens and make sexual remarks to the tenants living there. A bit worried to leave my home unattended when they're around in case they break in and steal anything - I wouldn't trust them. They send window cleaners, gardeners, maintenance people without any notice. Being on the ground floor and working nights, this is a recipe for disaster! Being woken up by leaf blowers, strimmers etc. after working all through the night. Also, during day shifts I am working from home, it's not ideal for me to be taking calls from customers with people swearing and shouting outside. Not all of us in the building are renters, some are home owners who aren't paying towards this either which is another issue. Absolutely no respect for the people living in the buildings. These are peoples homes not just a commercial building.
