From the very first meeting, the team was incredibly helpful and patient specially Margaret and her team , guiding me through each step with clear explanations. What really impressed me was their professionalism and attention to detail. They were always responsive and kept me updated, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. I never felt rushed or pressured, and their support made a potentially overwhelming process feel manageable. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and I’m so grateful to Robinson Jackson Bexleyheath for helping me find my first home. I highly recommend them to anyone, especially first-time buyers looking for guidance and excellent service!

After having a nightmare with previous estate agents I was worried they were all the same, however since I put an application in for a rental with brontes, Sam got straight in touch with me and she’s been easy to communicate with since, so friendly and made the whole experience so easy. 10/10.

Id recommend them to anyone deciding to sell.

We would massively like to thank Kessar Qureshi, mortgage advisor for all his help and advice. All our questions, concerns were answered in detail, and we was understanding of every information that was given to us. He went above and beyond for us, and we appreciate everything he has done for us. We very highly recommend William H Brown, and any help with a mortgage we highly recommend Kessar Qureshi. 4th Oct 2024 (19 days ago)I have had such a pleasurable encounter with Bridgefords Halifax. I did see a few other letting agencies when deciding to pass the letting of my home to a prophesional company. No other agency came any where close to the amazing team at Bridgefords Halifax. I met Sarah (the manager) she totally put me at ease, very prophesional, Royston efficiently showed perspective tenants around my home and Emily Rawson helped and guided me with paper work, signing contract and day to day enquiries. She was kind and considerate. Nothing was too much for her. The letting process for a Landlord can be a scary world, however, choosing Bridgefords HX was deffinately a great decision which I would highly recommend. I'm totally relaxed and at ease. My new tenants moved in today thanks to a brilliant team who guided me with prophesionalism and empathy when I showed signs of stress. Thankyou Sarah, Emily and Royston
4th Oct 2024 (19 days ago)Please do not use this branch or company. They are simply the worst estate agent I have ever come across. In short, they lie, don't contact you or respond to your contact & try pressure/force you to use their recommended solicitor firm, who I'm sure they receive a payment from which they don't tell you, the buyer also experienced this pressure. if you don't use their solicitors they refuse to contact your solicitors or say they 'cannot contact them as you didn't use ours'. It has been 10 weeks since we or the buyer of the house had any contact from W H browns, they feel this is acceptable. If we hadn't have sorted things directly with the buyer ourselves the sale would have fallen through, 100%. They feel it is also ok to not respond to emails for over 10 weeks from the buyer who needed urgent help. They lie, they blame you for their mistakes and lack of service & also don't follow their own groups complaint procedure, ie don't advise you of your rights with the property ombudsman. Please do not use this company, use someone else who actually cares and doesn't just see it as there job to put your house on right move.
25th Sep 2024 (28 days ago)Professional service at Reeds Rains Hebden Bridge Some 10 months before we put our house on the market we invited a number of agents to view and value our property. During this process we found Matthew from the Hebden Bridge branch to be the most professional and interested in our house. Throughout the initial visit he was relaxed but very professional asking astute questions and clearly absorbing the detail. When we did decide to put our house on the market he made the process as seamless as possible and did a great job at guiding us through the current process. Sally was our designated coordinator through the sale and we were very impressed by the level of proactive communications we had from her, keeping us informed as we looked for a buyer and very good at keeping in touch with our buyer as well as being an excellent conduit for communication with everyone involved. I would have no hesitation other than to recommend the Reeds Rains team in Hebden for anyone considering the sale of their property within the local area.

Nothing was a problem and they were always happy to answer questions and give advice about the process.

I am so glad I did as the service I received was very professional from start to finish & the photography they supplied was awesome. They constantly kept me up to date as things were progressing and they found me a tenant extremely quickly. Everything was seamless & stress free. What an amazing company. From the moment of the valuation visit I knew they were right for the job. Everything was explained clearly and I had real confidence which put my mind at ease given it was the sale of my mums house after she was moved into a care home. Emails were always answered quickly, usually within a matter of minutes, which was great given I live over 90 miles away from the property being sold. Could not recommend Martin Thornton and the team highly enough and would definitely use them again if I was selling a property in the Huddersfield area.

18th Mar 2024 (7 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Wendy went above and beyond in every aspect; communicating regularly and effectively, progressing everything efficiently, and generally making us feel like she had a real personal interest in my family's future in our new home. Wendy was so approachable, kind and wise throughout the process. There aren't 10 stars to give, but if there were, it still wouldn't be enough!!

5th Jul 2024 (16 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
