A special mention goes to Sean, the incredibly talented photographer, and Rory Murray, my dedicated Sales Consultant. Rory was always just a call or email away when I needed him, and his professionalism and expertise truly stood out. He kept me thoroughly updated throughout the entire selling process and offered fantastic advice every step of the way. Rory is a real credit to MOV8, and I’ll genuinely miss our interactions. Highly recommend!
24th Feb 2025 (5 weeks ago)EDIT - To comment on the below reply, I did not even bother applying, even after liking the look of the flat, knowing that this would be the estate agent we would have to deal with and Stephen's rudeness, just read other reviews on this exact same problem you will likely encounter... I recently attended a property viewing arranged by this letting agency, and I have to say it was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve ever had. The representative, Stephen, was incredibly rude to everyone in attendance. He showed no respect to all 10-20 potential tenants and acted as if he didn’t want to be there at all. I’ve never seen anything like it at a viewing - basic questions were met with dismissive answers, and the whole atmosphere felt uncomfortable, even overhearing everyone else say how awful Stephen was instead of liking/disliking the flat. A viewing should be an opportunity to get a proper feel for the property, but Stephen’s attitude made that impossible. I strongly recommend arranging your rental viewings through any other letting agency. This level of service is completely unacceptable, and tenants deserve to be treated with professionalism and courtesy.
17th Aug 2021 (3 years ago)Received a letter to say i was liable to pay cost towards a fence which is on my neighbours ground. The estimate from the companies clearly state who is responsible and my address is not on the estimate but they are trying to say it is on the title deeds. I called my solicitor yesterday morning who got back to me in the afternoon and told me it was absolutely incorrect, There is a communal pathway between the two properties and each property has their own individual boundary. Therefore not liable to help with cost of fencing. However my solicitor also told me that the fencing provided when property was built was wooden fence posts with 3 lines of wire to separate the gardens at the front this separation was between 26 and 28 and then a fence between 30 and 32 as there was no requirement to separate 28 and 30 due to pathway. At the back of the house each property had the same wooden posts with 3 wires strung across. Through time resident decided they wanted more privacy and they have all done this in different manors. IE. Hedges, fence panels and some installing brick walls all paid by the individual owner / resident of own property. This company has decided to take it upon themselves to pester residents which have been in their property for over 50 years to subsides their property owners bank account by telling them they need to pay up. I have already put up fencing in my back garden which has enhanced both my neighbours gardens without asking them to contribute to it. I have also had issues with this company as regards to the maintenance of the back gardens they are supposed to be managing over grown bushes,trees blocking out the light to my garden and damaging my garden hut. Which due to the trees and bushes have caused side of shed to be replaced due to dampness caused by the bushes that had grown wild and the roof had to be felted again due to the trees and leaves. I also have a job every year clearing up all the leaves which fall on my decking and the destruction caused to my decking which needs to be painted every year. I have yet to have an apology from the so called business with regards to this and for them to hide behind a title deed. I think they should check before trying to bully people out of their money.

She explains things really clearly and she's so lovely - friendly and approachable. We felt so glad we had decided to go with her for our purchase, we were in safe hands. Thank you Shirley! We also dealt with Connor the EA at Allen & Harris and he was absolutely delightful.
20th Mar 2025 (8 days ago)First class service. After choosing to sell my house with Slater Hogg in Ayr the full experience has been amazing. From Lee the valuer to Caroline the assistant manager to Amy on reception they were all fantastic. The process was seamless and professional. I would highly recommend this office to sell a property. Communication was exceptional, staff were friendly and helpful and kept in touch with me frequently. I sold my own property through another local Estate agents and genuinely felt that I got more support and information from Corum when buying through them than I did from my own estate agents. Sophie particularly was fantastic. Knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and professional. Thank you so much. I will definitely recommend Corum and will use them if I ever sell in the future.

They put so much effort in for us and were available to talk to us and help our process whenever we needed. We also got great offers for both places. Thank you!
17th Apr 2024 (11 mo. ago)They were fine when I first took out the rental, but since I terminated the lease they've been awful. Unresponsive to emails, delaying returning the deposit, for a different reason every time I call them about it. Really disappointed in their total lack of professionalism. They're not even showing any common courtesy, in fact they are downright rude now. Like many other reviews I fully believe they are trying to retain as much of the deposit as they can for as long as they can. Be very wary if you are thinking of renting a property from them, they're exactly the kind of shoddy business that gives estate and letting agents a bad rep.

I can honestly say I have never had a better experience of selling than I have with them (and I’ve moved several times). They were friendly and professional throughout and made the whole process as easy as moving can possibly be. Rachel was always on hand to answer any queries and provide updates when needed. Would highly recommend them :)

I met Julie at the property and she showed me around and we had a good chat during the process. I explained my situation and I can’t say how relaxed and better I felt. Julie made me feel very relaxed and at ease. I felt nervous as with other companies and viewings I felt judged and I felt like I was being looked down on. Julie made me feel relaxed and it honestly made the viewing better. I am extremely grateful for Julie and the teams work for helping me with the process and even me becoming successful and getting the apartment. Everything was done and I feel extremely happy with my new apartment. Thanks again Mr Rhodes

6th Feb 2025 (7 weeks ago)After the passing of my husband. I took the difficult decision to downsize and move from Ayr to Falkirk area to be closer to my sons. This was a huge decision and having been in our happy family home for over 38 years ,I had no idea where to begin. I contacted several large well known estate agents for their estimates on the value of my home. All were clipboard in hand, suits and tie, office smart and matter of fact. Values varied wildly. I contacted Belmont on advice of a trusted family financial advisor and was delighted with the personal attention of this tiny team who understood completely what a huge deal this process was . My home was ccompletely converted for disabled access and equipment and needed very careful marketing. The team had such confidence and expertise I was amazed to have over 20 viewers in just two weeks. Leading to five firm offers, and a selling price of twenty seven thousand over asking price. They took care of the viewings. They took care of the video with drones.they took care to guide me in every aspect of the process. All I can say is size is not everything and to go with the small family orientated company was my best decision ever. My thanks to the whole team for their help and fabulous result.

Her recommendation of a local solicitor was also very helpful. We are happy to recommend Cecchini to others looking for professional estate agent services.

Swift replies to queries, very knowledgable and really listened to my requirements - resulting in finding me an ideal rental property within days! Alan, our agent, was incredibly professional and knowledgeable, guiding us through the process with confidence and ease. One of the standout features was the WhatsApp group he set up—it was a brilliant way to keep the lines of communication open. It allowed us to have regular updates and contact with Alan, which made everything so much smoother. We couldn’t have asked for better service and would highly recommend Elmwood Properties to anyone looking to buy or sell!

David responded quickly to any questions I had and it was a breath of fresh air dealing with someone who doesn’t conform to only Monday - Friday 9-5. Definitely would recommend ????
