The Woman we dealt with who we believe is possibly a partner repeatedly didn’t find answers to our questions, it seemed as if it were a constant battle throughout, she also came across false and over the top. As far as the owner of the company goes one meeting was enough for us. Occasionally we spoke with other employees who were always friendly and efficient, shame the same can’t be said for management.
27th Feb 2026 (13 days ago)Was recommended MOV8 from my mortgage advisor and as a first time buyer, can say everything went incredibly smoothly, all questions answered, all details explained well, really was an easy process. Would highly recommend and would use MOV8 again for any future property requirements.
20th Nov 2025 (16 weeks ago)We are still mid missives, moving towards exchange of contract day, but so far, it's all been good. I was selling on behalf of my brother with dementia, but they were very understanding and helpful. Advertising etc was good - it was not an easy property to sell, but they did it. All communications have been clear and good. I only did 4 stars for value for money as we are yet to see what the final costs will be. Nonetheless, as I live far away, it was important to have someone deal with everything, swiftly, simply and with clarity.

Selling real estate with her and her team was easy from start to finish. Excellent and fast communication with the client, timely assistance in any questions regarding the sale or purchase of real estate. I highly recommend!

He kept us abreast of the viewing status so we were confident that he was working hard on our behalf - in fact our property was sold within the month! I would highly recommend Amazing Results if you are buying or selling a property.
23rd Nov 2025 (16 weeks ago)Buying or selling a property is something that most people do so infrequently that it is very difficult to know whether or not a different Estate Agent could have done a better job. Could they have sold it quicker? Or for a higher price? I will never know. But my flat took many months to sell and eventually did so at a price that was 10% lower than its value so I will not be using Delmore in the future.
15th Nov 2021 (4 years ago)This used to be a decent enough place until they employed idiots during the pandemic. The Shirley one who started in 2021 is particularly rude and obnoxious. She simply will not answer emails or return calls. Nothing professional about her at all but I guess when you pay peanuts you get monkeys! ???????

From the initial visit by Vicky and the contact thereafter from both Vicky and Cormac it has been an incredibly easy process. Their attention to detail and communication has been brilliant. In a process that has many pitfalls and potential areas of confusion they have been open at every turn. I have just came off the phone with Cormac for the final time before the sale tomorrow and he, and Vicky, have been a real credit to the organisation with their professionalism throughout. I would recommend to anyone.

3rd Nov 2023 (2 years ago)(While the company did finally provide compensation, it's important to note that I still experienced a significant opportunity cost as a result of their actions.) It has undeniably been the most regrettable experience of my lifetime, dealing with a solicitor team that exhibited a severe lack of professionalism and courtesy. Initially, I placed my trust in them based on their positive Google reviews, which now appear to be misleading and have led to significant frustration and inconvenience on my part. The solicitor in question was Shari, who astonishingly took a full year to complete the anti-money laundering check, despite my having submitted all required documents promptly. To compound matters, she repeatedly requested the same information, leading to redundant submissions. Regrettably, she ceased all communication, failing to respond to both my emails and those from the seller's side. My attempts to reach her went unanswered for two months until she seemingly disappeared without a trace. I was dismayed to find myself in such a predicament. In desperation, I enlisted the assistance of the estate agent, who contacted Joni, the National Head of Conveyancing. However, this interaction proved to be equally disheartening, as Joni not only displayed a lack of professionalism but also declined to provide any insight into the unilateral breach of contract, responding in a profane manner. I strongly advise against engaging with this company. As a result of their inefficiency, my funds remained in limbo within my bank account, as I had initially believed they could promptly resolve their business matters. Consequently, I have incurred substantial financial losses due to the failure of Simpson & Marwick to deliver on their commitments.
6th Feb 2023 (3 years ago)If it was possible, I'd have given Abbey Forth zero stars. Here's my experience with them: The place I rented from Abbey Forth had not been cleaned when I moved in. It was in a disgusting state with several broken fixtures. I took many photos and informed them that, because I was having to clean my new flat, I wouldn't be paying for the place to be professionally cleaned when I moved out. Throughout my year at the property, they were unprofessional and unhelpful when other problems arose: trying to charge me for boiler repairs (a boiler which was leaking on day 1), failing to resolve a drainage issue outside the kitchen door and, worst of all, falling to resolve an infestation of slugs in the kitchen - an obvious health hazard. When I moved out, they unsurprisingly tried to deduct £190 from my deposit for cleaning. I successfully disputed this charge with the deposit scheme, using the pictures and emails I'd sent them over the length of the tenancy. The deposit scheme found that, as the property was not cleaned to a good condition for the start of the tenancy, that I should only having to pay £60 In summary: Abbey Forth is the worst estate agent I've ever used. Rude staff and a general ethos of trying to squeeze money out of tenants for as little effort as possible. Only sign up with them if you are desperate and have no other options. If this is the case, then please make sure you document everything for inevitable struggle to get your deposit back

I was selling the parents property (and dreading it), Jaqui from Innes Johnston was highly recommended so contact was made.Best descion ever. Jaqui is a very vibrant,positive person who has an energy and enthusiasm that is most infectious. The whole process has been a dream. Lovely meeting and talking with Jacqui and the staff are excellent, everything very well documented and communication was exceptional. I was kept up to date with all viewings and followed by viewing reports. Jacqui would even call jst for a quick check up and touch base which was also most reassuring when getting oodles of views but no bites. I thoroughly recommend Jacqui McAdam and her team and cannot thank them enough for all their hard work.

18th Sep 2025 (25 weeks ago)Great value for money agent - local independent company also! Lots of digital/social media marketing. As an over thinker who doesn’t love the moving process, I felt, at times I had to contact them for an update - but to be fair to them, there wasn’t any updates! In hindsight, I think I was pitched a little too high, my decision! Hindsight is a wonderful thing though - my house sold after 41/2 weeks on the market and happy with the overall process and price.
9th Jan 2026 (9 weeks ago)Administration of the property leasing old school, no silly apps and speak to people which is great. However that’s where the good part comes ends. The problem is the inspector and the property manager. Poor landlord is suffering the consequence, a lot of inconsistencies in what they are saying to both parties, as is the poor tenant that relies on them To make matters worse lettings manager ignores complaints rather than properly investigating. Even after council report, no acknowledgment of issues. What can one do?

Kirsty’s communication was excellent — she truly went above and beyond at every stage and kept us informed and reassured throughout the whole process. Gavin was so down to earth and friendly, which made what can be a stressful experience feel much easier and more personal. The marketing package was exceptional, especially the high-quality photography and the drone footage, which really showcased the property and set it apart. Thanks to their hard work and expertise, we achieved an offer above the asking price, which exceeded our expectations. A genuinely professional, approachable, and dedicated team — we’re incredibly grateful and wouldn’t hesitate to use Venters Property again.
