27th Apr 2024 (6 days ago)Overall we were satisfied with the service we received. We were kept informed at all stages and got answers to our questions. Venmore were the second estate agent we engaged as very dissatisfied with the first - we were not disappointed this time.

In particular I have regularly been speaking to Brooke who is always happy to help, has made me feel comfortable whenever I called with queries and has supported me throughout. Brooke has made my experience with Doran Kennedy pleasant despite there being a few hiccups with previous buyers along the way. Thank you Brooke for everything.

22nd Mar 2023 (1 year ago)Poor communication between staff who I felt not genuine when asking questions. One staff member extremely rude me accused of phoning on Saturday when he had been connected by the office who had phoned me!! Told us we were patronising!! Also they did not listen to my requests and told me I was a difficult client because I was quite specific in the type of client I wanted to rent my house to. The customer does not come first in this business .Charges for services ridiculously high but they do not communicate back to you when you raise a query with them. Would never use again and not recommend.

15th Jun 2023 (10 mo. ago)I recently sold my house and made an onward purchase through Colette Gunter's. I had a few local estate agents out to value my home, of which, Gunter's valued my home the highest (the realistic price I expected). They are an established Formby business, who have a lot of valuable local knowledge. They rely on this local knowledge rather than antiquated sales techniques during a period when the market is slower than usual. All members of staff were easy to talk to, helpful, friendly and hard working. No hints of bluntness or condescending tone, which seemed commonplace at some other estate agents during my house hunt. I completed my onward move within 6 weeks, which is testament to the hard work and professionalism of this estate agents.
5th Jun 2023 (10 mo. ago)Absolutely terrible customer service. I own a property next door to one of their properties and have had an issue with a fence which they refuse to accept responsibility for. It has been down for 15 months and they refuse to show proof of their deeds (despite asking me, even though the property is their responsibility). Emails have been ignored and claims they have tried to help but are not providing any details despite asking me for half the money? The attitude of staff is unhelpful and generally rude. Making comments to their tenants about other peoples circumstances when they dont have any facts. Not at all helpful or willing to show proof but demanding money and proof from other people. Also threatening their tenants with eviction because they havent fixed an issue.

My viewing was arranged in literally the same day we managed to make an offer on the very day. She kept on communicating with us the whole time. Everything was managed and all the paperwork was carried out very quickly as well. I love the apartment I moved in, Thank you very much for all your support and effort. We are enjoying our new residence.

We were doubtful as heard this before and the house had been on the market for over a year. Well less then two weeks an offer was in and the house is sold. would highly recommend Mark and also Agency UK to anyone trying to sell in this tough market
