We encountered them when buying a house a few years ago and were impressed at their fairness in handling the buyer/seller balance. Hence tje decision to use them when selling. This last transaction fell at a difficult time and had some complications but they showed patience, persistence, courtesy and even humour. In brief, we trust them.

We sold and bought a property through them, and the whole process was seamless from start to finish. Their communication was excellent, keeping us fully informed at every stage, and their level of service was impeccable. We also used their solicitors’ service, which was equally superb – everything handled promptly and professionally. I honestly cannot recommend them highly enough. Five-star service with a genuine personal touch – Christine and Alex simply can’t be beaten! And to top it all off, they offered the most competitive pricing on the market. Thank you, Elmhirst Parker, for making what could have been a stressful time an absolute pleasure!

6th Jan 2026 (8 weeks ago)I have been extremely happy with the excellent service from Tom Brooks at Stephensons Estate Agents . From our first meeting I found Tom to be very professional and incredibly knowledgeable . We instructed Tom to help sell our late parents bungalow . This property had its challenges , however Tom did much research and found solutions along the way . He kept us fully informed at all times and made what could have been a stressful experience feel smooth and well managed . Tom was always available to speak to at any time of the day which I found very reassuring. I would highly recommend using Tom at Stephensons to sell your property.

The entire process was handled professionally and efficiently, but the person who truly made the sale seamless was Phoebe. She was outstanding throughout — proactive, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive at every stage. Not only did they achieve £10,000 above the original valuation, but Phoebe dealt brilliantly with the issues caused by the buyer’s solicitor, keeping everything on track and taking a huge amount of stress off me. Communication was clear, timely, and reassuring, and I always felt confident that my sale was in the best possible hands. Always on hand with a listening ear and Max was just the best support as was Andy. I would recommend Hunters Castleford for a rental to anyone as they are great with the personal touches, I always felt listened to and when I needed them they were always there. Thank you to all the fabulous team keep doing you are the best x
