They made a significant mistake in their memorandum of advice. Their negligence on the matter has caused me to lose almost £70k. I found that they are unresponsive when you need legal counsel the most, perhaps because of high staff turnover and because they take on too many matters. What is even more disrespectful and a wonton breach of their duty of care to clients is that I raise a complaint in January and still have not received a response. They keep stalling me. I am now taking it up with SRA, Legal Ombudsman, and lawyers. If I were doing it again, I would use a conveyancer that comes recommended by an impartial party (not real estate agents that refer work to them) and has the capacity to handle the conveyance with the care it deserves.
23rd Feb 2024 (10 weeks ago)Ivor has been a nightmare from the start. I would not advise anyone to use this estate agent. He ignores requests, has next to no customers, constantly pushes very aggressively to get a seller to drop and drop the price so he can earn commission quickly. He is very unprofessional and made many mistakes when listing that I had to inform him of time and again. My advice Avoid!
16th Apr 2024 (16 days ago)If every estate agent was like Luton branch of Northwood, estate agents wouldn’t have a negative reputation! We rent an older property, so have had numerous issues to report over the years. Not only is there always a prompt response, but also genuine concern, evidenced by follow-up calls until the problem has been resolved. My wife and I have had dealings with each member of the lettings team. Without exception, staff are courteous, friendly—and efficient. We get the impression that a happy atmosphere prevails in the office. Having recently met the manager, we think we know why!
18th Dec 2023 (19 weeks ago)Deakin White were efficient and proactive in searching for properties for me. Both Sarah and Elliot were very good, made appointments at short notice and their sales style was not pushy at all (which I really liked). Communication is an area for improvement, it became apparent when talking to the seller directly that information wasn't always being passed on and the manager of the branch was able to progress things that had stalled for a few weeks. Overall a good experience.
22nd Dec 2021 (2 years ago)Abbey property have been very helpful and professional. I was new to London and i found many agents who dont responds or sometimes change their agreed commitment for a better price. But Abbey property were pure gentleman in their dealings. Highly recommended.

24th Jul 2023 (9 mo. ago)Just moved into a new build and was left with a front door that didn’t lock for a week, still takes about 30 mins to lock at night from the inside, as a woman by herself. No hot water for a week, pipe leak under the floor No working washing machine for a week Can’t work from home because the Wi-Fi can’t be installed due to the electricity faults which is crucial for my disability. Almost zero communication, empathy or sympathy from Oliver who has ignored almost all of my messages. No apology or investigation as to why the property was even put up to rent with so many issues. No olive branch or explanations, radio silence I’m a polite, laid back person but this lack of urgency or care has pushed me to my limits. Absolute disgrace

17th Nov 2022 (1 year ago)Great at obtaining tenants quickly. But unfortunately the experience with the tenant was horrendous. Tenants were found but I doubt much was looked into in their background. And on to checkout, tenanr damaged pretty much the property and nothing was done. So overall not happy with both tenant and agent.
