6th Apr 2024 (5 mo. ago)Our experience with Mov8 was easy they kept us informed with viewing and communication was prompt. The only thing was their offices are in Edinburgh and Glasgow and we are in Carnoustie which was a little inconvenient if we needed to go to their office to sign things
14th Mar 2024 (6 mo. ago)Lack of communication and not pro-active as I had to instigate them doing anything. Pricing is terrible everything is an extra add on with vat on everything. Too expensive for lack of contact and or proactivity.
11th Sep 2024 (23 days ago)Tony and his team provided an outstanding service to me and my family as sellers, and we also bought our new place via Home Connexions. All members of staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, making the process very easy with their industry expertise, and regular communication. I hardly ever had to call them during the process, such was the regularity of their updates / feedback and they are a business who absolutely know their industry and territories inside out. I even got updates when required outside of normal hours when required from the owner, and this flexibility and bespoke approach was so helpful in such a busy and modern fast-paced world. I would not hesitate to point anyone in the direction of Home Connexions for buying or selling property, a business that East Kilbride and the wider area should be proud of.

1st Feb 2024 (8 mo. ago)The Property Store provided great support and experienced advice in a very professional manner. The entire marketing and sales process was very proficient and speedy and I was amazed that the property was surveyed and advertised within a couple of days and incredibly sold within the week. The staff kept me well informed along the way on our progress. I can confidently recommend them.
22nd Jul 2023 (1 year ago)Borderline illegal sales tactics. The sales team lie about fake offers put into properties to try and increase your offer. Twice I was advised of higher “offers” that had been received and that I just needed to increase my offer a little bit more. Spoke with my solicitor who confirmed there were no other offers. Spoke with Clyde who advised these were “verbal” offers and the solicitor wouldn’t be aware of them!? Pulled my offer out of principal and lack of trust with the Clyde team. The property I was trying to buy now remains on the market unsold. I doubt the owner is even aware as to why we actually pulled the offer.

4th Jun 2024 (17 weeks ago)Absolutely appalling service ! Sent in forms on Friday 31st May regarding a rental property at Carseloch Rd Ayr, we offered 6 months rent upfront on top of the 2 months deposit. We received a reply from Samantha Outten quoting “Many thanks for your applications, we will get back to you about a viewing in due course.” We called on Tuesday 4th June to see if there was any update, only to be told there was a block viewing on Saturday 1st June that we were never told about and the landlord had picked one of the viewers. When we asked if we would have been informed that our offer was not successful, we were told “we sometimes have up to 50 applicants for a property so………” Excuse me but if you have up to 50 applicants then you will contact 49 applicants and tell them they have not been successful. That would be the professional and decent thing to do. We were also told that it states in their wording that if we don’t hear back then we weren’t successful. Actually it states in your wording that you will respond within 5 days. Oh and then the girl on the phone actually hung the phone up mid conversation. As landlords ourselves we have never treated any tenant or potential tenant in the manner that the staff of Galbraith’s have today, and the fact that there are dozens of applicants for every property these days does not give you the right to be as unprofessional and ungrateful as you are.

14th May 2024 (20 weeks ago)I was really disappointed with this estate agent. I went in and asked if it was possible to be notified if/when anything that met our criteria came up. The lady said this wouldn't be a problem, she took all my details, asked what we were looking for and that was that. I left and never heard a thing. No emails! No texts! No phone calls! Nothing! I checked as often as i could and noticed there had been new property put up, and when I phoned, I was informed they were gone. This is an amazing service for sellers but not so much for buyers.

They kept in regular touch with us re the progress of our sale and offers. Overall an amazing home move experience and I would recommend Momo without any reservations. A five star overall experience!

From our first visit from Hugh he took the time to explain the process to us there was no rush and made sure we understood everything. Everything was done really quick and I was kept informed the whole journey. My house was up for sale less than a week and they managed to secure a great offer for me. Couldn’t recommend them enough.
