8th Aug 2026 (3 days ago)We instructed MOV8 to sell our one-bedroom flat in Edinburgh. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing and we ultimately decided to terminate the agreement and move to another estate agent. During the period the property was marketed, we had a number of viewings but also several cancellations, and we did not feel that the sale was progressing as we had hoped. We would have liked more proactive advice and communication about what could be changed to improve the chances of achieving a sale. What was particularly disappointing was the cost of ending the agreement. We had to settle a substantial outstanding amount before moving to another agent, despite the property remaining unsold. There were individual members of staff who were pleasant and helpful, so this is not a criticism of everyone we dealt with. However, looking at the overall service and outcome, we were not satisfied and decided that changing agent was the best option for us.

24th Jul 2026 (18 days ago)I can’t recommend Jason and the team at Harbor property highly enough. We have worked with Jason a few times over the years and most recently he sold our family home as well as an investment property on our behalf.<br>From a sellers point of view, Jason goes above and beyond to maximise your sale. He’s an expert in his field and is highly knowledgeable on current market conditions, he was able to advise us throughout the entire process. We gained an impressive 15% above home report and I believe this was down to Hadons knowledge and amazing negotiation skills.<br>The office staff at Harbor are incredible and work hard to market your property, follow on leads and are very professional with potential buyers. Everything ran like clockwork.<br>The media team were amazing and provided incredible marketing material, again they went above and beyond. They visited my property twice, daytime and at night to capture contrasting shots.<br><br>Selling houses is stressful but this team take the stress away, keep you informed and work hard to sell your property. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

24th Mar 2026 (20 weeks ago)Buyers and Sellers - Avoid! Based on my recent experiences as a prospective buyer, I would strongly advise both buyers and especially sellers to avoid using Clyde Properties. I attempted to arrange viewings with them on two separate occasions, and both interactions were consistently disappointing. Despite advertising “appointment only” viewings, they offered only open viewings. At the first property, it was clear that many attendees believed they had private appointments. The agent on site took no interest in the viewing, offered no information about the property, and repeatedly responded with “refer to the home report” to even basic questions. They appeared unfamiliar with the property and disengaged throughout. A second attempt to view another property was just as frustrating. Although the listing went live early in the week, the only viewings offered were during working hours on Friday and Monday. Despite requesting an alternative time well before the closing date, they made no effort to arrange one. Having sold a home through a different agency, the contrast in service quality was stark. Clyde Properties showed little willingness to work with buyers, and based on many other reviews I have since read, this seems to be a common complaint. For sellers, this lack of engagement is particularly concerning; an agency uninterested in supporting buyers will inevitably impact interest and offers. With so many other agencies offering far better service, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Personally, I will avoid properties listed with Clyde in the future, and it appears many others feel the same.

From start to finish, Colin was professional, knowledgeable and always available to answer any questions we had. He kept us informed throughout the entire process and made what can often be a stressful experience feel straightforward and manageable.<br><br>Colin’s communication was excellent, and his expertise and dedication really shone through. We always felt that he had our best interests at heart and worked hard to achieve the best possible outcome for us.<br><br>We would highly recommend Colin and the team at Remax Carluke to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. 10th Apr 2026 (18 weeks ago)I'd say 1 star is too generous. As stated from numerous other reviews the owner George is a very unpleasant human being. From the very beginning I had issues with the storage heaters not working properly and horrible problems with damp and mould that kept getting ignored and not taken seriously and the solution to this was to keep all windows open all day and night in the height of winter( it was that cold my pipes had frozen) From this George lied to me about the landlord wanting me out of the property yet couldn't provide evidence of this all because he didn't want to take responsibility that his company was failing their basic responsibilities and during this conversation George actively threatened me with violence because I wasn't backing down to his bullying. After stating that I was recording the whole conversation he very quickly changed his tune and wanted to finally try and help but by doing this passed my number onto a central heating company to change over the storage heaters which I was to pay for myself which is ludicrous from a renter. Lastly when I moved out, I had the property cleaned and painted and left items that were already there when I moved in yet tried claiming I had left them and left the property in an unreasonable state especially marks on Walls that were continously having to be cleaned due to black mould, yet never contested giving back the full deposit which shows they were trying to be awkward and difficult for the sake of it. If you can, please stay away from this company.
5th Sep 2023 (2 years ago)Was so disappointed with the carry out as 1st time and got prices on line which apparently have not been updated ordered veg pakora chicken pakora and poppadoms and spiced onions £18.96 when I queried this she said it was 2 poppadoms and spiced onions it's not the best experience as the prices are very much more expensive 6.99 chicken pakora and 5.99 for veg pakora 2.99 poppadoms and spiced onions. Only exotic thing about this place is the prices. UPDATE After owners reply STILL no update on prices and as previously mentioned the poppadoms and spiced onions come together what they need to mention that a portion is 2 poppadoms broken up as when I ordered 2 poppadoms and spiced onions got the equivalent of 4 poppadoms at 5.98 so this needs to be clearer on the menu also as how many poppadoms do you need for 2 people.
27th Mar 2026 (20 weeks ago)Kenny was so helpful and empathetic to the fact I was selling my mums house who died recently. He immediately made me feel confident I had chosen the right person. The house was sold in 5 days for the valuation price which was fantastic. He was able to tell me a bit about the family buying the house and it was so comforting for myself and my sister to know it was going to a family who immediately fell in love with the house and were so excited to bring their family up there as mum and dad had done with us. I would highly recommend Kenny and the company to anyone. Thank you so much
5th Mar 2026 (23 weeks ago)Very unimpressed with this company.Frlt they were all promise with no substance, made several assertions to get our business which we found to be inaccurate.Did not listen to us throughout and did not respond well to feedback. Sorry to say but there must be many better agents out there if a fair assessment is made.

14th Jul 2026 (28 days ago)We were moving from Glasgow to Airdrie and came across Arrowhead estate agents as they were selling our new house.We were instantly impressed with Gavin on our first viewing and asked him if he would sell our old house aswell, It was the best decision we could have made.<br>The whole experience from start to finish was seamless. Gavin’s knowledge of the industry and professionalism shone through throughout the process, we felt extremely valued as customers and Gavin was always on hand to answer any questions we had.<br>Gavin and his team managed to sell my house within a fortnight for a price we were very happy with, whilst negotiating the best deal for us with our new purchase, all within a very reasonable rate.<br>We worked with Arrowheads financial adviser Thomas who was also great to work with , Thomas made himself available to us throughout the process and completely removed any stress due to his financial expertise and competence.<br>We consider ourselves very fortunate to have found Arrowhead Estate Agents.Due to the teams professionalism , hard work and very high level of customer care , our whole moving experience was enjoyable rather than stressful,and we continue to recommend them far and wide.<br>Thanks again Arrowhead
