15th Oct 2024 (7 mo. ago)I recently rented and sold a flat with bridgfords Washington and unfortunately I’ve been left very disappointed with the service provided. Bridgfords were noticeably more expensive than competitors (I.e. 40% premium on other estate agents) and the service provided when selling the flat was poor overall. When I’d call their offices I would either not be able to get through or would be promised a callback which wouldn’t materialise which was very frustrating. The sale of my flat took 10 months with no chain and it realistically shouldn’t have taken anywhere near this long. A lot of the delays were caused by unresponsiveness either by bridgfords or by their recommended solicitors (which were also unresponsive and expensive compared to competitors). This poor service was disappointing and could have largely been avoided. Without emails/calls chasing there were weeks which would pass when nothing progressed. I was advised by bridgfords to end tenancy (2 months notice) as I was under the impression that completion was imminent, after tenants moved out the flat was empty for nearly 2 months which increased unnecessary costs of owning the vacant flat. Unfortunately at this stage I wouldn’t recommend using bridgfords.

25th Mar 2023 (2 years ago)Kay was really helpful and provided us with plenty of information when our home was valued and images taken. They were really quick to put our house up once the pictures were taken. They are available every day of the week to speak too. They communicate well throughout.

I explained that due to my work hours I’d struggle to be home for viewings, Jonny completed every single one for me and sold my house unbelievably quickly (3 weeks!). The communication was amazing, voice notes and quick WhatsApp messages, rather than having to listen to voice mails and return phone calls. Was so much better for me in my role where I struggle to answer the phone. Jonny even recommended a solicitor who moved things along extremely swiftly and got my completion very quickly. I thought selling my house would be an extremely stressful process, however EweMove made it the least stressful thing I’ve ever experienced. The house selling book was a great touch and I did read it and use it as a guide when selling my house. I would recommend EweMove to anyone and couldn’t be more thankful for the excellent service I’ve received.
