28th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)They listed my4 bed detached dormer bungalow as a 4 bed detached HOME!!! SO I didn’t get any viewings for 10 week as google does not recognise home on any search engine it Could be found under properties but buyers only looking for bungalows could not find us!! I found out by distant friend trying to find bungalows online. They relaunched but missed summer buyers. Tied into 20week contract and cost me £354 to cancel -nightmare scenario for me.

7th Aug 2021 (5 years ago)Excellent experience overall. Bailey & Co were involved in both the selling and purchase sides of my chain. They managed to negotiate a great selling price on my flat in a very challenging market and always let me know straight away when appropriate properties for me came up buy. Which led to us finding our ideal house. Their sales progression team also did a great job of keeping me up to date on status of the chain and communicating with all parties quickly and efficiently when issues arose. I would definitely use them again. Thanks again to all the team at Bailey & Co for your hard work.

29th May 2026 (23 weeks ago)Rook Matthews Sayer (Jesmond) have managed my property for the last 17 years, including around 15 years as a rental property and the last 2 years while it was on the market for sale. Throughout the rental period they were generally reliable and easy to deal with. Whenever maintenance issues arose, they would contact me promptly and arrange local contractors to carry out the work at reasonable cost. Over a long period of ownership, there were no major problems and I felt the property was looked after well. During the sales process there were a few challenges, including a complicated issue involving a neighbouring property which resulted in the power being disconnected to the building. Although this took some time to resolve, RMS were able to provide the information I needed and the sale was ultimately completed successfully. Communication was mainly via email rather than phone calls, but I found the team responsive and helpful whenever I needed assistance. Managing a property from a distance can be difficult, so I appreciated having an agent who could deal with issues on my behalf over many years. Overall, I would like to thank the team at RMS Jesmond for their support over the last 17 years and wish them all the best for the future.
22nd Oct 2026 (13 days ago)Your staff Mr. O R failed to do what promised me on Sept 21, 23 so I sent a reminder email on Oct 4, 23 and you told me that on Oct 5, 23 you cannot recognize the very google account I sent gmail to info@bowsonproperty.co.uk<br><br>Very good.<br><br>IF you rent a house from this agent, remember to have no trust on the staff to do what they promised and keep sending email to everyone until it was done.

She was very helpful in addressing queries, and maintained transparent and fast communication across all the level. She was a very good link between myself, seller and the conveyancer.
19th Oct 2026 (16 days ago)Staff were exceptional from the first meeting for the valuation through to dropping the keys off when sale completed,,everything was explained at each stage and Alison was the go between towards the end who dealt with every solicitors enquiry etc taking the hassle of of me worrying about it

20th Oct 2026 (15 days ago)Terrible experience trying to buy a property through Hive Estates. We were set on buying a Sandyford flat and ready to offer significantly above asking price, but there was a serious rising damp problem in the hallway, which they initially tried to hide when we viewed the property. It had been superficially patched so we asked for details on the diagnosis of the problem and any work that had been done. The estate agent who showed us round had zero information on the property, for the issue or more broadly. The wider team refused to share any further information, saying the owner of the flat had "no idea" what the issue was diagnosed as and what the work, and that there was no documentation because a "property manager had fixed the issue" not the owner.<br><br>They also lied initially. They said that the issue had only been fixed three weeks ago, hence the smell of damp throughout the property, but when we spoke to someone on the phone they said it was fixed 10 months prior.<br><br>We actually made clear that the damp wasn't a dealbreaker, and that we just needed to go round with a surveyor or even just a damp metre - they blocked us and wouldn't allow it.<br><br>Everyone we dealt with seemed fresh out of school and were winging it. I struggled to get in contact even when putting an offer in and had to ring multiple times a day.

23rd Oct 2026 (12 days ago)Awfully managed estate agent, will ignore you when you tell them multiple times that you are renewing your tenancy and will continue to organize viewings in which people would use a key to come in without knocking. Upon signing our tenancy renewal, two months after we had asked them multiple times to do so, Chloe took so long to sign her part, the document expired and we had to do it again!<br><br>They have been a bit better this year, actually sending emails when someone needs access to the property, however, we were given less than 24h notice that a photographer would be coming to take pictures of our flat. This photographer let himself in without knocking 20 minutes early without saying a word to either of us.<br><br>Brunton really lacks respect for the tenants it’s renting to, our landlord is also using Greetham Gilbert to market the house; Greetham Gilbert have been nothing but friendly and respectful of our privacy, waiting 5 minutes if we are not ready, emails of viewings sent a week in advance. If you want an estate agent to manage your student property do not choose Brunton Residential, it is ran awfully!

Nothing is too much trouble, with all team members going above and beyond to help you achieve your desired result. I can not rate this company highly enough - Becky is extremely efficient with paperwork and Matt a joy to work with, with his tireless ability to crash through any obstacle that may present itself. This company is outstanding and is a cut above all the rest at every turn. A company to watch, no question. We are so very grateful.
