21st Aug 2026 (28 days ago)We put our property up with Scott Breen after a disappointing encounter with another local estate agent and I only wish we’d gone to him first. The property was photographed and on the market within days & multiple viewings in the first couple of weeks, which led to a buyer . Unfortunately that buyer pulled out but Scott was straight on it, the property was back on the market within a day, two viewings booked within the week & thankfully one of those viewings led to our buyer.<br>Scott has been amazing, he responded quickly to every question or enquiry and informed us of any updates throughout the process & we’ve never been passed on to anyone else (which seems to be the norm in most businesses these days). I would highly recommend Scott and would definitely go back to him for any other business I have in this sector .
8th Feb 2026 (7 mo. ago)If I could give this agency a zero stars, I would. I have rented a property through them for four years and they don't do repairs, they gaslight you into thinking you're the problem, they've left me living in a mouldy hovel, myself and my partner have sunk over £3000 on the garden and tried to keep the property as liveable as possible. Mckale used to use RS Services as their repair contractor and they were awful cowboys that left trunking wonky and exposed hot water pipes, an electric fire that was chocolate blocked with no cut off; the two repairs they have done (after me badgering them through emails to the landlord) seem to have constituted two rent increases after each repair - firstly the electrics being updated and the second being the fallen bath (the timber beneath was rotted and basically sponge) this repair they told me they would just re-seat the bath (it was cracked and the plug was as much use as a chocolate teapot) and re-grout tiles, which were falling off due to water getting into the wall behind and causing damp. Lastly, the mould... this is being caused by the roof lining/roof in general being in need of repair and water getting into the front wall of the home causing mould, the front door is shot as is the windowsill in the lounge (a horrid draft comes from beneath this), and Mckale have come out and taken photos in order to "get this sorted" but recently they have told me there is "no mould issue and it is a ventilation problem" - we have the windows open regularly, use a condenser dryer and fans on when cooking/showering, so the above quote is gaslighting. Now, they wish to increase the rent citing "similar properties having higher rent amounts in the area", the only properties in the area that are similar, are on the same street and I know all of my neighbours, they don't pay anywhere near what I am paying, and they've had brand new kitchens (mine is still the one that was installed in 1995 when the property was built), new electrics and other upgrades (some have solar panels now!) (Also, check their accounts on Companies House... something fishy this way comes...) DO NOT RENT THROUGH THESE SWINDLERS!
2nd Sep 2026 (16 days ago)Your Move Wallsend handled the recent sale of my daughter’s flat. The property was advertised and “ Sold” by Your Move literally within days! But that is only half the story. The buyers solicitors were “ Shocking !” , as a result the conveyance process took “ Months and Months”. We had paid up front for the transaction, hence “Your Move” could have sat back and done nothing. However this could not be further from what actually took place. Sarah, the branch manager and all the staff, Harry, Jessica, Chloe and Jess R worked tirelessly with both the future owner and ourselves to push the transaction through. They contacted the buyers solicitors on almost a daily basis, asking for updates and attempting to push the process. This was followed up by regular updates to us and the buyer. Even further to this, one of the company partners “ Darren” was brought into the equation and he proactively engaged with the buyers solicitor on our behalf.<br>I accept this is a very wordy review, but I feel it is a valuable description for prospective users of “ Your Move” to let them know, even paying up front, the service you will get is second to none! Most people do not go through the process of buying and selling houses on a regular basis, so it is important to be very careful who you use in this process!<br>Thank you Sarah and everyone else at “ Your Move” we really appreciate everything you did for us.

25th Aug 2026 (24 days ago)We sold our property through Northwood and it was a great experience<br>Leanne was in charge of our sale and was perfect, always had an answer to my question and always called me with solutions not problems. She was also great at calling/emailing me whenever she said she would, which is always hard to find.<br>Sam was also excellent whenever we dealt with him. Always cheery and happy to answer my many stupid questions, even on moving day<br>They were great through the whole process, and whilst there was plenty of stress (as always) they were never the cause of it<br>I'd definitely recommend them and use them again
18th May 2023 (3 years ago)Huge thank you to Jeanette snd Mary who helped with the purchase of our new home. It was quite stressful for us at times and we had a few (a lot!) bumps in the road. We were very dependent on the team especially towards the end of the buying process for many reasons. I truly believe without their help on an almost daily basis we would still be waiting for the sale to have been finalised. We are now 4 weeks in our new home and are so happy. The stress long forgotten. The team are Very professional, very “on it” and also want to do the best for the buyer. Thank you all.

2nd Sep 2026 (16 days ago)Really recommend Next2Buy, it was quick and easy to get the house on the market and it sold within 10 days after around 15 viewings. Unfortunately, things beyond our control meant the sale took over eight months, but Next2Buy were there at every step, helping us through the stress. A special mention for Wendy who spoke to me every week with updates and helped us through a very stressful few months! Thank you Next2Buy!

From the first valuation of our flat in Heaton, we were immediately struck by his personal approach and his unparalleled understanding of the local market. From marketing to sales progression, he supported us perfectly and made himself very available. Although our chain didn’t work out as we would have liked, Noel went above and beyond to offer calm, honest, and expert advice and to keep things moving forward. He has been incredibly supportive throughout a stressful situation. An absolute professional who genuinely looks after his clients and goes the extra mile. We will approach Noel for our future sale without any hesitation.
29th May 2026 (16 weeks ago)Rook Matthews Sayer (Jesmond) have managed my property for the last 17 years, including around 15 years as a rental property and the last 2 years while it was on the market for sale. Throughout the rental period they were generally reliable and easy to deal with. Whenever maintenance issues arose, they would contact me promptly and arrange local contractors to carry out the work at reasonable cost. Over a long period of ownership, there were no major problems and I felt the property was looked after well. During the sales process there were a few challenges, including a complicated issue involving a neighbouring property which resulted in the power being disconnected to the building. Although this took some time to resolve, RMS were able to provide the information I needed and the sale was ultimately completed successfully. Communication was mainly via email rather than phone calls, but I found the team responsive and helpful whenever I needed assistance. Managing a property from a distance can be difficult, so I appreciated having an agent who could deal with issues on my behalf over many years. Overall, I would like to thank the team at RMS Jesmond for their support over the last 17 years and wish them all the best for the future.

Despite not being our estate agent, Danielle was excellent at ensuring I was updated, answering any questions I had, and keeping the whole process moving. Danielle always responded promptly, was extremely polite, professional and friendly, and in my opinion went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. I would recommend Danielle at Brunton Residential for anyone who wants to buy/sell a property.

They helped me with both the sale of my previous property and the purchase of my new home, and the whole process was efficient, seamless and stress-free.<br><br>Everyone I dealt with was incredibly friendly, helpful and professional, which made what can often be a very stressful process feel so much easier. The little gift and card we received when we went to collect the keys to our new property was also a lovely touch!<br><br>A fantastic team from start to finish — highly recommended!
