The difference in service between the two was vast. Sophie was thorough, efficient and effective and is a swift worker, making a big difference to landlords. We will continue to move the rest of our portfolio over to her too.

15th Feb 2022 (2 years ago)Booked a viewing on the Friday for, Saturday the next day. I rang the office 4 times with no response and nobody turned up for the viewing, so I travelled and paid for parking for no reason.
3rd Apr 2024 (16 days ago)Your Move in Wallsend are the best estate agents I have ever used! I have just sold my flat through them and all of the team were lovely and helpful. I’d like to say a huge thank you to Sarah Nixon who was with me from start to finish. She was constantly chasing things up and keeping me informed all the way as well as reassuring me when it looked like at one point it was going to fall through. Would 100% recommend. Thanks again!

18th May 2023 (11 mo. ago)Huge thank you to Jeanette snd Mary who helped with the purchase of our new home. It was quite stressful for us at times and we had a few (a lot!) bumps in the road. We were very dependent on the team especially towards the end of the buying process for many reasons. I truly believe without their help on an almost daily basis we would still be waiting for the sale to have been finalised. We are now 4 weeks in our new home and are so happy. The stress long forgotten. The team are Very professional, very “on it” and also want to do the best for the buyer. Thank you all.
15th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)Cons : they only checked in after 12 weeks and once when we had a possible viewing. This felt quite poor over 26 weeks. I requested some replacement photos to use alongside a price drop to create some Interest. Advisor quite abrupt and unhappy at the request . Refused/strongly advised this was not necessary even though work had been done to improve the home since original photos taken . Communication was poor with very little contact over a 26 week period. Didn’t see home marketed via Facebook or email shots . Some of the Photos weren’t the best , make sure you really check them before you approve . Pros : Service was quick and effective at point of set up. Staff were otherwise polite and pleasant to deal with . Always returned calls when I rang . Board went up quickly and photographer was quick. Some of the photos were good. House did not sell or even have a viewing within 26 weeks which is unusual in a popular area.

Not being from the area, they were able to suggest an excellent solicitor to oversee my house purchase. The whole process was smooth and stress-free. My partner and I couldn't have wished for more.

18th Nov 2023 (22 weeks ago)Was told that they don't do viewings after 5 on weekdays, so I had to take time off work to get to the property at 4:30. After the viewing, at 5 minutes to 5 I said good-bye to the agent and asked, just as a way of conversation, if she had to drive far in the 5 o'clock rush hour traffic. She responded that she was not driving anywhere because she had another viewing after mine. Sure enough, a car arrived at the property at this point, with the next viewers, so somehow it _was_ possible to do viewings after 5. I do not appreciate being lied to, so I will avoid Jan Forster in the future.

We had a fair amount of veiwings then a sale was agreed. The staff were very helpful all the way through to the sale. I would highly reccomend them

Properties in poor state, no prior viewings allowed and upon arrival, many broken items, damage and have not been cleaned. All recorded and reported. Be careful when using this company and make sure you get a full inventory done and view it before putting a deposit down. They don't do anything upon prior students leaving.

They moved me into a flat with no working plumbing which they knew prior to the start date but neglected to tell me, they ignore emails and texts, their staff gaslight you, they turn up at your home unannounced sometimes letting themselves in and I don't think I've been treated this badly by a company ever. Do yourself a favour and deal with landlords directly. This company is not worth the premium you and the landlord have to pay and they cause more issues than they solve.

From the first meeting I was assured they shared my values of transparency and fairness and I was thrilled by the support I received. They worked doggedly, getting dozens of viewings for the property to ensure I reached the value I needed to achieve. At every point in the process, the communication has been exemplary. As a first time seller, I feel they really understood how to balance the personal and the professional. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
