30th Jan 2024 (11 weeks ago)Had the absolute worst experience with Sutton Kersh - avoid!! I was purchasing my first house through them and it took around 28 weeks to get the keys from when my offer was accepted. I felt like I constantly had to chase them and was never given an update, I feel like I was always having to offer up potential solutions, the manager was always condescending probably because I’m young/a first time buyer. I was consistently told “it’s just a lengthy process” and 26 weeks into the sale the manager told me “there’s nothing anyone in this office can do for you” - even though at this point the seller and their solicitor had made the case a priority as it has been going on for so long. Once I was told to wait till the end of the week for an update, called back and the manager simply said “no, nothing in the inbox” and I had to ask if she was going to do anything about it or if she was just going to sit and wait potentially several more weeks for a response, she wasn’t very willing to help unless pressed and I feel like her attitude and overall level of service were shockingly bad, I couldn’t believe that she was the manager. After the sale, the seller was reimbursing something their solicitor was meant to pay for but mine charged me for, I sent an email about this to ask them to contact the seller and I never heard back, they didn’t care once the sale was through. However, on the other hand, months into the sale my case was handed over to Mary Kate and she was amazing, her personally I would give 5 stars to. I called so many times and sent so many emails and she was always happy to help and seems like she actually did her job in chasing the seller and trying to get the sale through, rather than just sitting back waiting for a response and hoping something would change. She never made me feel like I was being unreasonable by calling for an update and never minimised the situation, in all honestly think she would be a much better manager.

We’ve now got our amazing house to call home and it was such a smooth move and transition due to the help we received from Hannah. Thank you so much for all your help! Highly recommend using bridgeford. Services were amazing!!

Really can give you a lift and give confudence as selling and buying is never that easy. Very friendly and very accomplished

Megan is so thorough, super efficient, helpful, genuinely interested in me as a person and my requirements, but most of all, very friendly and professional. Any questions I have had, have been answered immediately or if that wasn't possible, within a few hours. The standard of photos were exceptional in my opinion and gave a true representation of my home. Megan has kept in contact with me regularly and as my home is sold subject to contract, she is ensuring that the sale is going to be completed in the time frame by keeping in touch with both parties. I have recommended Sarah Mains to friends based on the exceptional service that I have received, value for money and for having the most stress and hassle free sale.

24th Mar 2024 (23 days ago)They tried charging me £93.60 to change two light bulbs in the flat after we left. We left new light bulbs for them but they were adamant it cost them £93.60 to switch two spotlight bulbs. Luckily the DPS sided with me and massively reduced the charge after disputing but come on - on what planet is it reasonable to try charge £93.60 to change two bulbs...

14th Feb 2024 (9 weeks ago)I had Birdhouse out to value my property to sell on the open market. Derek arrived and was friendly and did have a number of critical issues with the house, which we took on board and were happy to address. He visited me before 10am and told me that the house was 'Quirky' and he would pop back to their home office and call me with a price. He would have to think on it. 12noon came, 2pm came, 4pm came and then 6pm came and eventually at 6.30pm, I phoned to chase him up and he, in turn phoned me back at 8pm with a frank discussion about the house and said that this house in the street I am in would sell for £365,000 to £375,000 with a view to selling at £365,000. My house had undergone a number of renovations and my personal idea of £400,000 didn't run smoothly with him. I did find his approach to be unprofessional as I don't expect to have to wait and wait all day and then chase a valuation, to be made to feel like I was being a bother. I am paying them for a service .... they're not doing me a favour and so I went with another agency to test the water and accepted an offer which did sadly fall though. I changed agency and sold to the first viewing on the first day and this offer was £20,000 over what Derek expected to achieve for the house. Derek wasn't unpleasant, far from it but with valuing houses, showing people around homes (they don't allow you to show your own home) and all the admin, I felt like there was a priority pecking order with vendors and buyers each day. They seem to be running around all over the place, trying to please everyone. When valuing our house and wanting to put it on at a max of £375,000 he really was undervaluing our house, as we achieved more than that in a troublesome financial market. It seems that their only interest is finding ways to avoid refunding my deposit. Secondly, I moved house during the pandemic and was advised to isolate. I contacted Armstrong to discuss possibly sending the keys through the post or having them pick them up from the property. This request was made because they had previously stated they would inspect the property on the last day of my tenancy. However, they insisted that the keys must be dropped off in person at their office by the last day of my tenancy. They mentioned that failure to do so would result in an additional month's rent charge.

First of all the communication was second to none, whether it was via telephone or email, this, I believe is half the battle, as I wouldn't say the same for others at the branch. 2nd Aug 2022 (1 year ago)It was really easy to arrange a property viewing with Valor Properties. Toni was super helpful and gave us a courtesy call on the morning of the viewing. She arrived early and went above and beyond showing us around, giving us information and allowing us enough time to get a good feel for the properties we were interested in. No hard sell just really genuine and helpful. Looking forward to dealing with Valor again in the future ????

20th Mar 2024 (27 days ago)They are thief’s, i rented out property from this agency, where fire occurred due to neighbours fault, my propery affected due to that, they promised me to find alternative accommodation and then left me on road without any accommodation, then they didn’t not allowed me to access property to collect my stuff while they given access to thier contractor, when i went for collection at the end after counless calls and emails, i found most of valueable items missing from property, when i inquired from them they said they don’t know anything about it. they were the one only had access to property ,my other remaining stuff was all damaged due to water. Sharon from Leytonstone branch is biggest manipulator, she try to act smart and play political games, i m in process of legal action now . i have instructed solicitors now and i am taking them to the court now i would advise everyone to avoid these thieves. *update* reply to stretton comment Sharon and zita both aware and admitted they took photos of the item and would like to match , then later on zitta said she didn’t took photos of right angels,i can post all emails correspondence screen shot here. Alternative property link they are claiming they provided those were taken from zoopla which i could have find myself. They are absolutely joke. I m in process to take this further and definitely expose them and thier contractors.
