12th Oct 2026 (21 days ago)Ash is the best estate agent I’ve come across so far. He was extremely polite, friendly and patient, and took the time to answer all of my questions without making me feel rushed. He was very helpful throughout the viewing and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable.
22nd Oct 2026 (11 days ago)Kate came out to value our property and we instantly warmed to her, she was so polite and Professional and by far gave us the most information on the local market out of all the other agents. We really felt she listened to us and what we needed, we didn’t feel hurried or rushed, which was very important for us. The rest of the team have been so supportive and kind, we really appreciate everything they did for us. Thank you again, I couldn’t recommend them enough.

This time it was my son’s house, and once again the whole team went above and beyond from start to finish.<br><br>Sam and Leanne have been absolutely brilliant, always friendly, professional and willing to go that extra mile. The whole team work so well together and genuinely care about their clients.<br><br>I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Northwood to anyone looking to sell their home. 26th Oct 2026 (7 days ago)Very Disappointing Experience – Poor Service and Lack of Reliability<br><br>I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Sarah Mains. We started the rental process for a property, submitted all the required documents, and successfully passed the referencing and credit checks conducted through Rightmove.<br><br>However, just two days before our planned moving date, an agent named Laura informed us that the landlord had decided not to proceed with the tenancy. By that point, we had already made significant arrangements for the move, paid advance costs, and even secured school admissions for our children near the property.<br><br>This sudden decision caused our family considerable stress, inconvenience, and financial loss. We had organised everything in good faith, trusting that the process was progressing as expected.<br><br>To make matters worse, we were informed that the holding deposit could not be refunded, leaving us in an extremely difficult situation despite having done everything required of us.<br><br>A family relocation is not a small matter, especially when children and school admissions are involved. I believe a letting agency should communicate responsibly, handle the process professionally, and treat prospective tenants fairly.<br><br>I would not recommend Sarah Mains to anyone based on my experience. The lack of reliability and the way this situation was handled have completely undermined my trust in the agency.<br><br>I sincerely hope they improve their service and treat future tenants with greater consideration and transparency.
20th Oct 2026 (13 days ago)The staff at NGU homes have been incredible with our move into our home, the whole process was smooth and very quick, specifically Shakil was so prompt and helpful with his responses and was just generally kind and very patient with us. Amy who we met at the house to get the keys was also lovely and super helpful!. I couldn’t fault these guys they have been amazing from start to finish, I would absolutely reccomend them. Thanks again guys!

My appreciation goes to Scott who met me at my property and gave a very informative overview of the rental market and knowledge of the local area and also Lindsey from the Sarah Mains office who provided me with informative updates regarding the viewings and tenant. From the initial contact to the valuation, marketing, viewing of property and communication they have been excellent. From our experience we would never use any other estate agent (in the extremely unlikely event of us ever selling our current home).

20th Oct 2026 (13 days ago)Terrible experience trying to buy a property through Hive Estates. We were set on buying a Sandyford flat and ready to offer significantly above asking price, but there was a serious rising damp problem in the hallway, which they initially tried to hide when we viewed the property. It had been superficially patched so we asked for details on the diagnosis of the problem and any work that had been done. The estate agent who showed us round had zero information on the property, for the issue or more broadly. The wider team refused to share any further information, saying the owner of the flat had "no idea" what the issue was diagnosed as and what the work, and that there was no documentation because a "property manager had fixed the issue" not the owner.<br><br>They also lied initially. They said that the issue had only been fixed three weeks ago, hence the smell of damp throughout the property, but when we spoke to someone on the phone they said it was fixed 10 months prior.<br><br>We actually made clear that the damp wasn't a dealbreaker, and that we just needed to go round with a surveyor or even just a damp metre - they blocked us and wouldn't allow it.<br><br>Everyone we dealt with seemed fresh out of school and were winging it. I struggled to get in contact even when putting an offer in and had to ring multiple times a day.
29th Jun 2026 (18 weeks ago)The 10Homes team were great. They found the right buyers, chased the sale and completion transaction through thoroughly. As an added benefit they worked well with tenants in organising viewings, provided solutions to small repairs, and cooperated with our letting agents.

We’d had a previously good experience with Conway & Christie with a house that sold the day it went to market. This was a more difficult and complicated sale. We were happy with their tenacity and great communications with our buyer. I’d definitely use them again. Thanks guys. ????????????

23rd Oct 2026 (10 days ago)Awfully managed estate agent, will ignore you when you tell them multiple times that you are renewing your tenancy and will continue to organize viewings in which people would use a key to come in without knocking. Upon signing our tenancy renewal, two months after we had asked them multiple times to do so, Chloe took so long to sign her part, the document expired and we had to do it again!<br><br>They have been a bit better this year, actually sending emails when someone needs access to the property, however, we were given less than 24h notice that a photographer would be coming to take pictures of our flat. This photographer let himself in without knocking 20 minutes early without saying a word to either of us.<br><br>Brunton really lacks respect for the tenants it’s renting to, our landlord is also using Greetham Gilbert to market the house; Greetham Gilbert have been nothing but friendly and respectful of our privacy, waiting 5 minutes if we are not ready, emails of viewings sent a week in advance. If you want an estate agent to manage your student property do not choose Brunton Residential, it is ran awfully!

Nothing is too much trouble, with all team members going above and beyond to help you achieve your desired result. I can not rate this company highly enough - Becky is extremely efficient with paperwork and Matt a joy to work with, with his tireless ability to crash through any obstacle that may present itself. This company is outstanding and is a cut above all the rest at every turn. A company to watch, no question. We are so very grateful.
