20th Oct 2026 (13 days ago)The staff at NGU homes have been incredible with our move into our home, the whole process was smooth and very quick, specifically Shakil was so prompt and helpful with his responses and was just generally kind and very patient with us. Amy who we met at the house to get the keys was also lovely and super helpful!. I couldn’t fault these guys they have been amazing from start to finish, I would absolutely reccomend them. Thanks again guys!

28th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)They listed my4 bed detached dormer bungalow as a 4 bed detached HOME!!! SO I didn’t get any viewings for 10 week as google does not recognise home on any search engine it Could be found under properties but buyers only looking for bungalows could not find us!! I found out by distant friend trying to find bungalows online. They relaunched but missed summer buyers. Tied into 20week contract and cost me £354 to cancel -nightmare scenario for me.

It was great to deal with someone who was friendly, open, knowledgeable and helpful at every point. When we were looking at the property he was patient and showed a genuine interest. I would thoroughly recommend Connells for their professionalism and communication.

She was relentless in chasing for updates, resolving issues, and keeping everything moving when it felt like progress had stalled.<br><br>What really stood out was her kindness, care, and genuine support throughout the process. She was always reassuring when things became stressful, quick to respond to any questions we had, and made sure we were kept informed at every stage. 20th Oct 2026 (13 days ago)Terrible experience trying to buy a property through Hive Estates. We were set on buying a Sandyford flat and ready to offer significantly above asking price, but there was a serious rising damp problem in the hallway, which they initially tried to hide when we viewed the property. It had been superficially patched so we asked for details on the diagnosis of the problem and any work that had been done. The estate agent who showed us round had zero information on the property, for the issue or more broadly. The wider team refused to share any further information, saying the owner of the flat had "no idea" what the issue was diagnosed as and what the work, and that there was no documentation because a "property manager had fixed the issue" not the owner.<br><br>They also lied initially. They said that the issue had only been fixed three weeks ago, hence the smell of damp throughout the property, but when we spoke to someone on the phone they said it was fixed 10 months prior.<br><br>We actually made clear that the damp wasn't a dealbreaker, and that we just needed to go round with a surveyor or even just a damp metre - they blocked us and wouldn't allow it.<br><br>Everyone we dealt with seemed fresh out of school and were winging it. I struggled to get in contact even when putting an offer in and had to ring multiple times a day.

23rd Oct 2026 (10 days ago)Awfully managed estate agent, will ignore you when you tell them multiple times that you are renewing your tenancy and will continue to organize viewings in which people would use a key to come in without knocking. Upon signing our tenancy renewal, two months after we had asked them multiple times to do so, Chloe took so long to sign her part, the document expired and we had to do it again!<br><br>They have been a bit better this year, actually sending emails when someone needs access to the property, however, we were given less than 24h notice that a photographer would be coming to take pictures of our flat. This photographer let himself in without knocking 20 minutes early without saying a word to either of us.<br><br>Brunton really lacks respect for the tenants it’s renting to, our landlord is also using Greetham Gilbert to market the house; Greetham Gilbert have been nothing but friendly and respectful of our privacy, waiting 5 minutes if we are not ready, emails of viewings sent a week in advance. If you want an estate agent to manage your student property do not choose Brunton Residential, it is ran awfully!

Nothing is too much trouble, with all team members going above and beyond to help you achieve your desired result. I can not rate this company highly enough - Becky is extremely efficient with paperwork and Matt a joy to work with, with his tireless ability to crash through any obstacle that may present itself. This company is outstanding and is a cut above all the rest at every turn. A company to watch, no question. We are so very grateful.
