2nd Mar 2019 (6 years ago)We are student at Durham University and we decided to rent a house. I called the estate agent and they agreed to send us the agreement and everything to rent this one house that we really liked. We were supposed to arrive a week later to submit the forms and pay deposit. When I got the papers, they confirmed with us that the house would be definitely be reserved for us. However, the morning we were supposed to hand in the papers, I got a short, badly articulated email saying that the property was no longer available and that we should look somewhere else. No explanation, nothing. We were angry because student accommodation is competitive and we lost so much time waiting for this house. Upon emailing them multiple times, they finally said that the previous tenants decided to stay for another year. Didn’t they confirm with the current tenants that they would be moving out? Why would they even list the house if that was an option? .Why send us the agreements and everything? They didn’t even bother trying to find us other options that we could stay at instead. All and all, I would never use this agent again because their service is absolutely terrible

From sale and purchase through to completion they were professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Tess in particular handled our sale/purchase progression and was, without doubt, the most helpful and competent person we dealt with throughout any of the transactions. On so many occasions her knowledge helped us to keep the transactions progressing. She recognised our situation and did absolutely everything she could, going above and beyond, to support us at a very stressful time. Thanks very much!

Communication was second to none Amy was constantly calling during the renovation and came around as soon as id finished everyone was polite and enthusiastic about our sail and we had a sold sign up in our first Week. Thanks for a excellent service

From start to finish Karen and Andrew showed professionalism, expert local knowledge, flexibility, and were worth every penny. I’ve dealt with other local estate agents and they blow them out the water. I was able to trust Karen with being able to work on my best interest, and her advice from listing at the right price to get a quick sale, to her patience and ability to chase and help push to completion at the end was incredibly valuable. Would highly recommend over any other agent in the area.

They were always on hand to answer any phone calls or emails straight away with any queries we had, The manager Joanne even stepped in to help our buyer out with the sale of her property as she wasn’t getting any help from her agent. We will definitely be using Hunters again. Thanks again.

19th Nov 2024 (7 mo. ago)In my honest and truthful opinion, I had a negative experience with Bedebrooke - without naming names. I found there to be an undercurrent of rudeness within their communications, and if someone asked me if I would personally recommend them, I'd decline to do so.

18th Jan 2025 (25 weeks ago)Very disappointed with Pattinsons. The initial valuation was too high and therefore did not generate any interest. I had to keep contacting them even though they said they would keep me posted. Very disappointing .
