Lots of support during the preparation for marketing, leveraging their trade contacts to get things done quickly. Clear advice of options during the price and subsequent negotiations. Staff always friendly, very prompt responses to queries, good handover between staff so that people always knew what they were talking about. A really great experience.

5th Feb 2026 (27 days ago)Pattinsons grossly over priced my property, possibly by nearly 50%. I received apologies for this but I think it caused problems in the sale of the house. They recommended selling it via auction which I'm not convinced was the best way of selling it. The property is no longer on the market. I will look to try and sell it in the spring with another agent.

Gail McLean has always been our contact there, and she is wonderful; approachable, knowledgeable and professional. The team are all very helpful and made the process as smooth as possible, helping me to recently sell my house in a short space of time. The sales progression was excellent and I would highly recommend them.

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

While they are, of course, running a business, they always take tenants’ needs into consideration and consistently demonstrate friendliness, professionalism, and understanding. Over the past eight years, several estate agents have managed the flat where I live, and Greetham Gilbert has been by far the best. Charlotte was very chatty, friendly and professional and was accurate with her valuation and we had an offer very quickly. The What’s App kept us informed of the process and we were very impressed with Louise in sales progression. She kept in touch regularly and was so supportive and proactive. We were impressed all round with Brunton and would definitely recommend.
