1st Jul 2024 (16 weeks ago)I was a long-term tenant in a property managed by Maguire Baylis and got to know the team at Shortlands. They’re very friendly, responsive and professional. I recently purchased the flat I had been renting and they were very helpful throughout the sale process too. I would definitely use Maguire Baylis again if I decide to rent out or sell my flat in future. They are trustworthy and genuine. Five stars from me!

Not only did he match us with our perfect home, but he also introduced us to a wonderful landlord. Every step of the way, from initial viewings to the referencing process and finally taking over the property, was incredibly smooth thanks to Martin's team expertise and attention to detail. Communication was seamless, kept informed every step of the way, ensuring that we were always in the loop. The entire experience was a testament to the agency's dedication to providing top-notch service. I would highly recommend Victor Chandler to anyone in search of a rental/selling/buying property, and I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again in the future. Thank you, Martin, and the entire team, for making our transition into our new home such a positive experience!

After deciding to sell our equestrian property in 2023 we had three agents do a market appraisal, and we placed our trust in D. R. Kivell Country Property. We had an initial influx of viewings and Geoff and the team kept us up to date with the proceedings throughout, we sold and moved to our new property spring 2024, and would not hesitate to recommend this country property estate agent, great service throughout. Very knowledgeable, She made the whole experience easy and she went through everything in detail with me so nothing was missed or not understood. She was always happy to chase any issues, or enquiries I had, she went above and beyond in her job role and I can’t thank her enough for her playing a positive role in my experience. I couldn’t have had a better advisor to help me along my mortgage journey, thankyou Amy for everything. Couldn’t recommend her enough.

Isabel Clifton was our main point of contact and managed things with great professionalism from start to finish. She provided a realistic and accurate indication of valuation and, together with the team, dealt with initial marketing, viewings and negotiations extremely well.

Always very helpful, any problems with the property was dealt with quickly and efficiently. there so friendly, I would go in just for a chat they became almost like family. We found the service to be exceptionally good, really responsive and very calm and effective in the event of potential disruptions to the process. The sale went through very smoothly. Would definitely recommend this team to assist with any buying or selling!
18th Mar 2024 (7 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

11th Jun 2024 (19 weeks ago)The Pilkington sales agent was very enthusiastic and confident and the outcome was that they achieved their valuation. However their positive 'leave it to us attitude', while it achieved the positive result did mean that we weren't fully aware of how the sale was being handled and they needed reminding to progress the memorandum of sale.

23rd Jul 2024 (13 weeks ago)The girls at this office are simply the best, the entire process was as smooth as could be expected in today's over the top systems, professional, curtious, helpful, friendly and just a breath of fresh air, I can honestly say the gorgeous Eva and of course not forgetting the witty Ali and the lovely Emma ???? are a dream team and Eva is to date one of the best estate agents I have ever had the pleasure of working with, I can not recommend them enough., thank you ladies for making this move as painless as possible ????

He was clear and informative throughout the selling process and went to great lengths to deal with the prospective purchasers personally for us which saved us much stress. We cannot overemphasise our appreciation of his efforts on our behalf. It was like having a friend in the business!
