8th Jun 2025 (4 days ago)If you are selling your home in the Worksop area, don’t use anyone other than Bartrop & Dilks. They value homes accurately to get you viewings (and got us £20k more than we expected on our home), they proactively work to sell for you - not sit back and wait like many agents. And they sell fast. No other agent in our area can compete on time from going on sale to sold than them and it’s not done by under valuing either. We had much lower valuations from other agents!! They communicate well both before, during and after the sale. And the quality of the photography (and I speak as a pro photographer myself ) is the best I’ve seen. Utterly delighted with them.

Honest and straightforward assessment of value, and feedback from viewings, professional response from everyone in the team who showed consideration for our situation selling the house from a distance . Their strapline "having someone on your side" really is true thats how you feel.

Constant and regular communication throughout the whole process. Excellent customer service I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

8th Dec 2024 (6 mo. ago)We had a mixed experience with Preston Baker. We chose them for their reviews online and at first contact with the Doncaster office they were quick to reply and tried moving our sale along promptly. Then our agent suddenly stopped communicating and when we tried contacting them we found out she had left but no one informed us. This happened a couple of times. Our house was eventually assigned to Terry Burrows (Leeds office) and she was good to us. She took care of our sale for almost a year until the end, even after two potential buyers dropped off and issues with the house made our sale more complicated. Sadly by then the market had changed and we weren’t able to sell for the value we had hoped for. Not sure if I would recommend the Doncaster office. I would recommend Terry for sure. (Terry, if you are reading this thank you for persevering with us and for helping us get a decent price in a difficult selling process)

He went above and beyond to make sure we were kept in the loop throughout the application process and as first time buyers, made sure we understood everything perfectly! We would definitely ask for Ed’s help again in the future! :) As for the estate agent team, they have all been amazing! Very professional and on top of everything but also incredibly friendly and approachable!

Oz was available everyday throughout the process to call and text and would respond outside of average working hours which was fantastic for communication, he made sure to inform me of any changes and movements during the process of the move which was great. The day we completed we got a little gift too which was a lovely touch to the stressful day and made it feel exciting! Thanks Oz, Naomi.

There is no communication between those who work at Alexander Jacob and even less with clients. Personal experience as a buyer - lost thousands as a result of the incompetence and lack of accountability. BEWARE
23rd May 2025 (20 days ago)Absolutely recommend Bell & Co. When they accepted our offer on a property they were selling they allowed us time to sell ours without any pressure which was really good on their part. Can't thank them enough
18th Jul 2024 (10 mo. ago)Wanted details on the Southwell Prebend house after a while I received it requested further information and a guidance on price and a viewing no reply a very well known Southwell resident who I visit discussed it with me ,I wasn't saying I was going to buy it but it would have helped if I was at the very least been given further information . Any how I gave up!! As far as I'm aware unless an agreement has been made which hasn't it should be open for a viewing.

Liz the manager at the Dinnington office was very attentive as were the other members of staff and nothing was too much trouble and would always return missed calls etc. Very happy and would recommend.
