23rd Aug 2023 (8 mo. ago)Ever since being a tenant in my current accommodation nearing 6 years I have nothing bad to say. Very reassuring from the get go, as a nervous, unsure 1st time tenant. Have helped guide myself, struck great communication on behalf of myself with my landlady. Nothing is ever a problem either if something needs to be done.
24th Sep 2023 (7 mo. ago)I strongly advise against engaging with this company. My mother, a retired individual, had a regrettable experience with them. They initially presented her with a contract specifying a certain value but later issued invoices with a different amount, contradicting the agreed-upon terms. I possess all the invoices that clearly indicate the agreed-upon price of £850, including statements indicating zero pounds in arrear rents. Despite maintaining up-to-date rent payments as evidenced by the invoices, the company attempted to claim rent owed from five years ago when they decided to terminate her lease. This situation has left me contemplating legal action against them. Furthermore, the company's office appears disorganized, which raises concerns about their property management practices. The person in charge, Shirley, exhibits an unprofessional and intrusive demeanor , often resorting to sarcasm as a means of communication.

I would thoroughly recommend Angela's services in the buying and selling of property. Angela provides an excellent service and cheerfully goes the extra mile for her clients. I am very happy to give a five star review. I wouldn't go anywhere else if I were to buy and/or sell in the area again. Thank you Angela it was a genuine pleasure doing business with you.

Always kept us up to date with the sale process and chased all parties to ensure an efficient transaction. Always prepared to go the extra mile to get the deal done
17th Feb 2024 (10 weeks ago)Never in the office when we called, never replied to our emails, didn’t seem interested in selling our (low value) property. When we phoned the office nobody else could help or give us information about what was happening with our property, or whether there were any potential viewings. Talked a good talk and always had ‘an interested investor’ which never turned into a viewing. Very slow on technology - took 4 days to remove the property after the end of our contract (after 2 weeks notice). Had the cheek to try to get a sly viewing after we had moved on to another agent because ‘they were interested but couldn’t arrange a viewing last week’. Poor service, and doesn’t seem to work with his team. Unless you’re selling a high- value property with a juicy commission don’t bother.

10th Mar 2022 (2 years ago)Estate agents often get a bad name, but Cromwells in Cheam Village have been brilliant. In particular, Nicky Gilbert at Cromwells has been a complete godsend. We had a really difficult purchase and she consistently chased its progress and kept us updated (and kept me calm!), all the while placating our own buyers. I can not thank her enough and can not sing her praises high enough! Many thanks to Nicky (a real asset to the company) and all at Cromwells. I really believe that without Nicky's expertise our chain would have collapsed and we would have had to start all over again.
3rd Oct 2023 (6 mo. ago)Steven Eustration of Martin & Co Sutton Surrey handled the sale of our fathers house. As we haven’t used an estate agent in many years we’re not in a position to make any comparisons but I would not hesitate in recommending Steven to someone wishing to sell their house in this area. From initial contact to completion Steven was able to keep us abreast of all that was occurring. He assisted with preparation of the house prior to it being put on the market, importantly he was able to recommend both house cleaning and clearance companies who both performed an excellent job. Steven handled all the house viewing whilst keeping us up to date on comments and responses from the potential buyers. Once an offer had been made he liaised between us and the buyer very effectively. Finally as the sale neared completion Steven managed to keep everything moving in the very rapid schedule between exchange and completion dates.
30th Jun 2023 (9 mo. ago)Cromwells were professional throughout but were affected by a slowing market due to increased interest rates. This meant that they were unable to get the number of anticipated viewings and were unable to sell my house. I took the decision to move agents to try and speed up a sale but Cromwells did get some viewings and their communication was good.

Their professionalism from start to finish is remarkable and nothing is ever too much for them. Our sale was not the easiest but they believed in getting through every hurdle to completion even when we didn’t.
