27th Sep 2024 (17 weeks ago)I recently had a viewing with your property company and I must say, the experience was rather mixed. On one hand, the lady who facilitated the viewing was very professional, a clear asset to your team. However, regrettably, I had a grossly different encounter with the manager. Their behaviour was disappointing, falling short of what one would expect of a professional in such a prominent role. This unprofessionalism overshadowed my experience and has left me with concerns regarding future interactions.

Will and Joe ensured we were always updated with everything that was going on in that long chain we were involved in. From Day 1, they were super friendly, supportive and helpful and made sure we managed to move into our new home without any hiccups. A special shout-out to Joe who was resourceful and always had a Plan B or C for every situation and was a calming influence on us. 10/10 would recommend them eyes closed if you are buying or selling!

25th Oct 2024 (13 weeks ago)I have used Barnard Marcus, Sutton for the purchase of my first property. Being the first, I have a lot of questions and was totally unaware of the process. Wintana Araya (from Barnard Marcus) has come to my rescue and helped me immensely with explaining the entire process. She has patiently handled all my queries and cleared all the doubts. The good part is even if she was away, she used to get back to me at the earliest, which helps me in completing the entire process on time (which was the dire need for me). I would also like to mention Georgia Cowles, who has helped me a lot as well while Wintana was away on other appointments, etc. Thanks a lot Wintana, Georgia for your help!! I would really like to recommend Barnard Marcus for your property needs.

She's been extremely professional and understanding of our situation, whilst managing to find us a buyer within 2 weeks! Cannot praise Sammy enough throughout this whole time. Polite, courteous and pleasure of doing business with her, would highly recommend.

Viewing, applying, and moving into the property was smooth, and they were incredibly supportive at every step. As a tenant, I’ve always found them responsive to maintenance issues or questions, ensuring everything is handled promptly. It’s refreshing to deal with an agent who truly cares about the well-being of their tenants. I highly recommend Belvoir Sutton to anyone looking for a trustworthy and professional letting agent! 5th Feb 2024 (11 mo. ago)I was approached by 4 estate agents and Aston Rowe impressed me most by giving the most realistic valuation of the property and by showing very clear local knowledge. More than that, I found Harry Hammonds a person I could do business with.
18th Mar 2024 (10 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Our sale was well managed, viewings conducted with consideration, communication handled with diplomacy. Peter and the whole team are, without a doubt, proficient and professional in every regard. On multiple occasions Peter went beyond responsibilities to manage challenges between solicitors, keeping us well informed. I’ve rarely encountered an organisation I can wholeheartedly recommend - but I can with Peter and team at Tennison
