Their prompt and efficient responses have consistently resolved the typical issues landlords may encounter. Also, their kind and cooperative approach has helped grow a strong personal relationship, which I believe is key in a business environment. A team I would gladly recommend to any landlord.
17th Jul 2026 (17 days ago)Deposit withheld on baseless claims, mould ignored for 6 months - DPS ruled fully in our favour<br><br>We rented a flat managed by Century 21 London Central (Rochester Row) for nearly two years; the property was owned by Marmora Ltd. KFH managed the building when we moved in and unfortunately the landlord moved management to Century 21 after a few months.<br>Our experience with agent Dusan Plesko was dreadful from start to finish.<br><br>At the end of our tenancy, Dusan ignored our emails for weeks, responding only after we escalated to the Deposit Protection Service. He then claimed £1,740 of our deposit for an Octopus Energy bill that was addressed to the landlord - not us. We were never Octopus customers; our supply was with OVO, who confirmed in writing that we had no liability to Octopus, and whose bill we have paid in full. At adjudication, Dusan submitted no evidence whatsoever. The DPS ruled fully in our favour. Months of our time wasted on an attempt to take our deposit for someone else's bill.<br><br>During the tenancy, we reported extensive bathroom mould in August 2025 - across the walls and ceiling, with the wall rotting away near the shower. An inspection identified a structural cause (an extractor vent leading nowhere). Instead of fixing it, Dusan replaced a working extractor fan, an unnecessary cost to the landlord which we pointed out at the time, and left the mould untreated. Repairs were finally done in late January 2026, conveniently the week before viewings for new tenants began.<br><br>When we offered a 15% rent increase to extend our tenancy, we received no response. Before we moved out the flat was listed for higher than our offer. After we moved out, the flat was listed at exactly the figure we had offered - and let at that price (or lower). We've seen no evidence our offer was ever put to the landlord, the landlord incurred costs related to finding new tenants and lost rent for the period the flat was unoccupied.<br><br>Reading other reviews, our experience isn't unique; inflated deposit claims and ignored maintenance appear repeatedly. Landlords (including Marmora Ltd) should ask serious questions about how their properties and tenants are being handled. Tenants: document everything from day one, and don't hesitate to go straight to the DPS.

She put together a clear, well-considered marketing plan (including making a really impressive social media video), carefully assessing the timing based on the property's strengths before working tirelessly to maximise viewings. I always knew my flat was in very safe hands during viewings—Hannah strikes the perfect balance of being informative, friendly and enthusiastic, showcasing the property in the best possible light. She kept me updated throughout the process and, once a buyer was secured, was instrumental in navigating the inevitable challenges that arose, ensuring the sale made it over the line. She’s one of the very best and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a proactive, knowledgeable and dedicated estate agent.

From the very first viewing, he was incredibly friendly, professional and genuinely helpful, always taking the time to answer our many questions without ever making us feel rushed. He was honest and knowledgeable, which made the whole process much less stressful. We were truly grateful for all the time and effort he put into helping us. He took the time to understand my concerns about the flat and, where possible, went the extra mile to investigate potential issues. He provided a detailed Level 2 survey report and took the time to talk me through the findings. If you're looking for a knowledgeable and reliable surveyor, I'd highly recommend getting in touch with Richard.

From the first viewing, he knew all the answers to our questions, and once we agreed to rent the property, he worked super quickly to get us in within a week. Once in, he has been extremely responsive to any questions or issues we’ve had, sorting some maintenance issues while we were away, and nothing feels like too much trouble. It’s honestly been such a refreshing experience! Would 100% recommend Anthony, it couldn’t have gone any better ??????

Shannon listened to what we were looking for and showed us two amazing apartments, one of which was perfect and is now our home.<br><br>Once the offer was accepted I thought that would be it, but Shannon stayed in touch throughout, checking all was on track, chasing up answers and making sure everything went as smoothly as possible.<br><br>I'd highly recommend Shannon if you're looking for a home or investment property. She's amiable, professional, quick to respond and just SO good at her job! Thank you, Shannon.

2nd Jun 2026 (9 weeks ago)We met Tommy Chalker a few months ago. He was very helpful in allowing us to see a property 3 times when we were not in a position to make an offer. By the time we did have an offer on our own house we had found another property which we liked equally. We knew Tommy had worked hard in getting the GJ property reduced to a price we could afford so it was disappointing that we opted for the other property. He was always, polite, efficient and accommodating. Excellent service! Many thanks Tommy and Garton Jones.

I went for a viewing for one of their properties and the agent who attend did not even have any information on the property, or even which room was being offered. They took me through the process of acquiring the room then silence for days.<br><br>I called them and they said that they had given it to someone else. This was a 1 day after I had followed up on the room and moving in<br><br>A though was not given to contact me and inform me about the proceedings<br><br>A Very unprofessional company and letting agency. The worst I have ever experienced.I come from a family who work in letting agencies or own one abroad so this experience was far from good.<br><br>Even at the end of the Call they didn’t even offer to see if they could help furthers or suggest alternatives. Terrible experience indeed.

Pamela is our main contact, very professional, communicative, knowledgeable and on top of the whole process - would highly recommend her as an agent. She showed us the property and explained everything in depth and clearly. She’s also very responsive on WhatsApp to all of our questions, which has been very very helpful. Overall, would recommend Fraser & Co Shoreditch, and ask for Pamela if you can!

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Communication was smooth, I always received quick replies, I always understood the process and at what stage we were at. All the staff were a pleasure to work with. Kate in particular, who helped me once my offer was accepted, was so helpful, patient, and accommodating throughout our communication. She always went above and beyond to ensure that I understood what was happening, and helped me with any questions I had. Can’t recommend them enough!
