Ross and Mia in particular were excellent - Ross was calling me more than I was him keeping my fully updated and assistance beyond what I would expect/felt was typical was offered when there were problems with the property not relating to the sale. A big thank you to all involved and very grateful indeed. Ultimately a sale was agreed at a fair price and everyone is happy. Very good indeed. Sadly I don't have any other business in the area otherwise I would definitely be back to them!!
4th Jul 2024 (23 days ago)Tor Estates dealt with the sale of our parents’ house following their demise, so it was a rather sad time for us. However, Neil and Holly handled the situation with empathy and helped to ease the process. The sale didn’t go as smoothly as was expected due to issues at the bottom of the chain but Holly was “on the case” every day liaising with solicitors etc and keeping us updated. In our opinion they are a very efficient, professional company and we would highly recommend them.
16th Dec 2023 (7 mo. ago)Having been model tenants and rented a property for 16 years I found they never pushed the landlord for repairs and when our roof leaked the served us a two months notice and did nothing to help us find alternative accomodation. When we visited them my disabled daughter could not get in through their office's stepped door in her wheelchair and non of the staff moved from their chairs to help.- 11th Jun 2024 (7 weeks ago)Had 10 veiwings in 10 days. His personal and continuous engagement ensured a positive outcome and I would say it has been a pleasure to have his support and guidance as we have navigated what appeared, to the uninitiated, to be a really complex process. Throughout the buying process they have kept us informed and updated, we always felt that they were trying their very best to give us a truly trouble free stressless experience. We would certainly use them again and recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.

30th May 2024 (8 weeks ago)Charles Dickens Estate Agents has much experience of the housing market in our locality. A relative purchased a house through them and recommended them. Their service has been good but I was a bit disappointed with the photos of our property. The photos were done very quickly. I think if the photographer had taken more time, the result would have been better.

In particular, we would like to thank Leah Beale who worked very hard to ensure that the sale progressed as smoothly as possible under trying circumstances. Her friendliness and professionalism was outstanding.

10th Jul 2024 (17 days ago)Selling a home on behalf of an elderly relative comes with many stresses. Sou was superb, to say the least, going above and beyond repeatedly to help. She understood the complexity of the situation and went out of her way to make the process as easy and as stress free as I could have wished for. As I also didn't live locally to the property, Sou ensured the viewings, were fully taken care of. She provided updates, advice and support in the offer stages, and the house was sold in under a month. Even after the SSTC stage, Sou helped me arrange for access for surveys and trades, etc. Never failing to be the first to update me, ahead of the instructed solicitors. The whole Tamlyns team are professional, yet fully engaged in making the process as smooth as possible. I would not hesitate in recommending Sou and the Tamlyns team for a house sale/ purchase. Thank you for your help and kindness.

When we found our dream home we had absolutely exceptional support from Jayne with the Cheddar team (James and Leanne) providing additional assistance; nothing was too much trouble. Everyone was proactive in helping us get to completion. Absolutely no complaints and would definitely recommend L&W when searching for your next property. Thank you all we are very grateful.

They were extremely knowledgable, professional and helped us every step of the way. A special mention to Steve, who did a fantastic job with all the viewings. We can highly recommend them. We have also used Symonds & Sampson at Yeovil and have found them to be just as professional.
25th Oct 2023 (9 mo. ago)What can I say , having my house on the market for nearly 9 months with another estate agents I changed to the property centre , within 2 days we had a viewing and an offer ( even managed another viewing a couple of days later ) ! Pleasure to deal with the description and picture are a on a different level compared with the other company and can’t recommend the property centre enough ! Thank you Louise ????
