31st May 2024 (8 weeks ago)We would highly recommend Strutt & Parker in Exeter, especially Isabel Clifton who did an amazing job. Initially when we found the property we wanted to purchase our house wasn't even on the market. Isabel arranged everything for us regarding our house sale and we managed to sell it within 5 weeks of it going on the market. We were always kept informed of any changes / potential issues and she was always easily contactable. You will certainly get a more personal service here which is exactly what we wanted. 9th Jul 2024 (18 days ago)I sold my house with Chamberlains, achieving 2 offers at asking price within days of going to market. Zoe & Sam in the bovey tracey office were both friendly, helpful and efficient. I then made an offer on a property that was also on their books. I can honestly say that my experience of both a sale and a purchase were as stress free as possible. I would 100% recommend them and I wouldnt think twice about using them again in the future.
17th Jun 2024 (6 weeks ago)The tenant did a runner from a commercial property in my Self Invested Penson Plan (SIPP). The empty premises subsequently broken into and trashed Leaving a mega problem. Could not have been dealt with sorted without the expert and personal help of Paul Bettesworth. Many, many thanks for sorting a nightmare.

Nothing was too much trouble and we were kept well informed and well advised through out the process. The team’s professionalism, experience and friendly and prompt communication all helped to make a typically stressful experience so much less so. We felt in very good hands though-out and we can’t thank the team enough.

14th Jun 2024 (6 weeks ago)I have rented with Gargan and Hart for over 10 years. Sadly, as the landlord is selling the house, so I am moving on. But Gargan and Hart, have always been helpful, respectful and professional. They have been inspecting the property every 3 months and are always prompt at addressing any issues and at making sure the property is safe and well maintained. Emma is amazing, approachable, respectful and always at the end of the phone if needed. She goes above and beyond, and I cannot thank her enough for all of her help and kindness. She is knowledgeable, practical and a wonderful person. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They would be my first port of call for any future renting or buying. Great team.

11th Jul 2024 (16 days ago)ABOSLUTE EXCELLENCE - THE BEST IN TOTNES - I recently sold my flat with the assistance of Luscombe Maye, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. They were thoroughly professional and highly motivated to work towards the buyers' goals, demonstrating attentiveness and excellent communication skills throughout the process with all stakeholders. Their photographer was excellent, adaptable to my needs, and produced amazing photos while incorporating my direction. Luscombe Maye showed great attention to detail in my listing, always eager to get my input and work with me to meet my expectations, ensuring the best possible outcome. What truly stood out was their willingness to communicate at all times, even outside of regular working hours. They made sure the entire team was informed about the latest developments, so I never had to worry about ensuring someone was up-to-date if my primary agent was unavailable. The outcome of my flat sale was excellent because they were adaptable and worked closely with me, avoiding a cookie-cutter approach. I absolutely and catagorically recommend Luscombe Maye over any other agent in TONES to anyone looking to sell their property. They are extremely knowledgeable about the market, highly adaptable, and work hard t ounderstand the unique needs of their clients. Before deciding on Luscombe Maye, I thoroughly evaluated several other agents in the area. Woods: outdated and complacent, showing a lack of motivation. Fulfords: greedy and uninterested in providing personalized service. Rendles: disorganized and didn’t seem genuinely invested in the sale. ChartsEdge: all fur coat and no knickers—full of talk but lacking substance, with incorrect vital details in their listings. Marchand Petit: Unrelatable spivs With all that said, Luscombe Maye came out on top. They are well worth any cost and the investment of using them as your agent.

Megan handled our conveyancing process keeping in touch with us and moving things along smoothly, sometimes several times a week. What is always a stressful process having that support from her was fantastic thank you ????

From start to finish, from the marketing, house viewings, and finally to completion they made sure I was kept up date and were always available at the end of the phone to answer any of my queries. However, at Pincombes you get a lot more than that….. You Get integrity and You Get Humour….! House moving can have its ups and downs and without fail the way in which Gerald and Kim handled situations is what made the difference. I cannot thank them enough for making the process as smooth as it could possibly be. Thank you both so much, Jo
18th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

From start to finish, the entire process was seamless and professional. A special shout out to Michael Mercer, whose expertise and dedication truly set the bar high. Michael was incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to ensure that I was well-informed and comfortable every step of the way.
11th Jun 2024 (7 weeks ago)The Pilkington sales agent was very enthusiastic and confident and the outcome was that they achieved their valuation. However their positive 'leave it to us attitude', while it achieved the positive result did mean that we weren't fully aware of how the sale was being handled and they needed reminding to progress the memorandum of sale.

9th Nov 2023 (8 mo. ago)STAY CLEAR FROM HERE THEY WILL TELL YOU LIES they promised us that with a guarantor our bad credit wouldn't matter just so they could keep our holding fee absolute horrible company don't fall for there tricks , my wife became very sick after dealing with these crooks, every bit of information that we knew about which was most was revealed to them and after they convincing us with a guarantor this couldn't happen they still kept it , legal action is the only way you will get your money bk We have been through the complaint procedure with no success this is exactly what you want people to do when there homeless or nearly homeless you do this and hope people will roll over lie and more lies

Ben and his team provided us with great support throughout the sales process, and their extra gruntwork at the end really helped to get us over the line. We will definitely use them again.

3rd May 2024 (12 weeks ago)Well they must have lots of business as I called them and spoke to a lady who took my details (which were already on their system) as I was looking to sell or rent my property out, but have never received a call back or email so after a week of waiting I went to fulfords, who have already been out, no emails or missed calls on my landline of mobile from them , bit silly really but if they can’t manage a call back…..
