After having a truly horrible experience with an independent estate agent in Helston, we couldn't have been happier or more relieved than when we decided to call in the professionals. From the start, Ben from Jackson-Stops was able to identify where the previous agents were failing and knew exactly how to rectify the situation. He predicted that they would secure a sale within the month and that we'd be beginning the next chapter of our lives in the autumn, and that's exactly what he delivered. They are a very friendly team and extremely conscientious. We really couldn't have been happier with how the house sale went and their recommendation of a solicitor was also spot on. Thank you Ben, George and the rest of the Truro team. 20th Dec 2024 (5 weeks ago)I used Stags Wadebridge to sell a property near St Merryn in autumn 2024 and found their advice and support extremely valuable. From the outset, everyone was professional, helpful and proactive. Their guidance on pricing was, “spot on” and the proactive updates were super helpful. (Call me a skeptic, but when ‘regular updates’ were promised as part of ‘the pitch’ I didn’t really expect any … so imagine my surprise when they actually happened and were so useful too!) Even the inevitable bumps in the road were handled exceptionally well. We really appreciated all the work the team put in throughout the sale process.

I moved from up country having no time to view the place and when I arrived they had rented me a completely different room. I never got the chance to view it and when I arrived the mattress was broken along with the bed and they had told me they wouldn't replace it because it's perfectly fine. So I replaced the mattress at my own cost just for the bed to do the same thing to my new mattress. Upon moving out they wouldn't agree to me leaving early even if I paid the rent in full for the month of my notice and then rang me to try to push me to move out sooner. And finally upon my leaving inspection they have proposed deductions for debris on the floor that I hoovered myself the day before I left the property. And paid for a new coat hook to be installed that was broken upon arrival The customer care team are awful I would advise ANY OTHER tenancy agents other than these. I have shared houses and rented for 10 years and have always been praised on the way in which I leave the property and have NEVER had any deductions. This letting agency hold a standard that is impossible to meet so you will almost definitely lose some or all of your deposit if anything is left out of place.
