12th May 2026 (20 weeks ago)Initially found the team to be professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful prior to signing the contract. However, the experience deteriorated quickly afterward. Communication has been extremely poor and often unresponsive, with commitments made that were not followed through. Overall, the service has felt disorganized and significantly below expectations for a letting management agent. The property continues to be shown in its current condition, which raises questions about their standards and oversight. Additionally, their knowledge of the local area appeared limited, which further reduced confidence in their ability to manage effectively. Based on my experience, I would not recommend using them for lettings.
5th Feb 2026 (7 mo. ago)Sam & Hannah have been excellent, they've kept me informed of all viewings and feedback from prospective buyers. It's been a hard sellers market for the last 6 mths, I've had over 30 viewings, which is a credit to Oakley's. Thank you

15th May 2023 (3 years ago)I have used Jarlands several times now over the years to rent out my property. I’ve always returned to them as they always act professional, honest, helpful and are great with communications. They come highly recommended from me!
12th May 2026 (20 weeks ago)I viewed the shop and called the office straight away to make an offer. I asked for Lyndsey, but the woman who answered pretended to be her even though she clearly wasn’t. I also emailed my offer the same day but they never confirmed they received it. A few days later I went to the office asking for Lyndsey. Someone interrupted and said they would help instead. They promised to call me back but never did. When I called today they lied saying they had called me yesterday and told me the shop was gone. I don’t know why they treated me this way, but I’ve never experienced such poor and unprofessional service from any other estate agent.

Adrian was considerate with viewings and made sure to talk us through all the prospective buyers - knowing that we were selling chain free and wanted to move quickly with the sale. Thanks Adrian!

18th Dec 2025 (9 mo. ago)This agency gives me rather dubious vibes. There are no Google reviews, and the only review I’ve been able to find mirrors my experience exactly. We have been attempting to arrange a viewing for over a week. When they eventually responded, it was via a late-evening text message suggesting a Sunday viewing at a very specific time, with no alternative offered. I’ve never previously encountered Sunday viewings, but more concerning was the complete lack of flexibility or willingness to accommodate. As a prospective buyer, this has been enough to put me off the property altogether, as I can only assume the process would be equally difficult further down the line.
