27th May 2026 (10 weeks ago)Very poor communication. No contact unless prompted by myself and only 2 viewings generated, one of which didn’t go ahead due to an issue with the keys, however I wasn’t informed until I called for feedback 5 days later.

James checking in regularly to see how things were carrying on and had impeccable communication skills. He came with a wealth of knowledge about the local community that we were moving into and gave some great insights into schools and local clubs for our children. I had been looking for over 3 years for the right property in Lewes and having met and had dealings with most of the other local Estate Agents I can say that my relationship with Lewes Estates was one of the best. They were always friendly, pro-active and professional in dealing with my enquiries and kept me fully updated throughout the process.

1st Aug 2026 (4 days ago)We had heard that selling a house is a stressful experience. However we found that it isn’t, if GianFranco at Hortons is acting for you! From the initial contact we found GianFranco to be efficient, professional, proactive and thoroughly pleasant. He sold our property on the day of the first set of viewings and kept us informed all the way up to completion. I could not have scripted a more stress free experience myself. There should be a five star plus rating to do justice to excellence like GianFanco’s. Thank you on behalf of our family.
