Thanks a lot to Zoe who was always super helpful in answering any questions during the transaction and always ensured that the various steps were completed in an orderly and timely manner.<br><br>The onboarding and completion stages were handled exceptionally well by the tlc team. Thank you again for all your help.
17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

All calls, emails etc were responded to quickly, and the whole process was very smooth and easy thanks to him. His management of the property during the tenancy is also fantastic. She turned the rental around very quickly and connected me with people in the local area. Helen was also great and stepped in when Lisa was out on a visit. Lisa has followed up with me without having to be chased. Lisa and Helen both explained processes clearly and made me feel comfortable to come back with any questions. First class experience.

However Gareth’s calm confidence , warm and professional manner in every aspect of the house sale was amazing . Estate agents sometimes get a bad rap fir coming across as insincere I think that Gareth is the antidote to that . He really is one in a million and I would not hesitate to recommend him . Thank you Gareth from the bottom of my slightly wonky heart for everything .
9th Jul 2026 (25 days ago)We can thoroughly recommend Fosters & Co. Hove branch. Mark and Jessie were brilliant from the off. And they actually had a plan for how to market our property, which sadly, is unusual. It worked and we got two Buyers in a few weeks and proceeded successfully with one of them. The supervision thereafter was good and either Jessie or Mark (or Nick from the Brighton branch) was always around to message or speak to. Good sensible advice. Calm. Professional.
