15th Apr 2024 (10 days ago)We rented through Q for a number of years. All problems were resolved by the Landlord. When we moved out they withheld our deposit for no reason and even when Deposit Protection found in our favour still kept items on the check out form. I ended up paying a fraction of what they demanded and should have had more back but they refused to take some items off even though they confirmed it was not my responsibilty. BEWARE
22nd Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)Unprofessional behaviour, at first I believed they were amazing until everything went Pete tong!! I was total multiple different things and then I was told there was something wrong with my credit even thought I proved I had nothing on my credit file I was then informed they were keeping my deposit but I could use it on another property BUT when I fill in the details to view the property I get the confirmation email and then I am not contacted so they are now ignoring me and they won’t reply to my emails stay away choose another agency….

15th Apr 2024 (10 days ago)Rating a single star is generous. I am appalled at the incompetence, lack of communication and sheer disregard demonstrated at BV. I have known David Vaughan who started the company for more than a decade, sold several properties with the help of him and his team so thought it would be wise to keep using them. I was sadly mistaken as BV is certainly not the client focussed award winning agency it once was now that David Vaughan has moved on and established Aston Vaughan —- As I write this I am still waiting more than 5 weeks for BV to reply to emails regarding my property seemingly now held hostage. Do not use this agency as it does not value ones business and the sheer disregard for myself and my most valued asset, my home, is disgraceful. I,certainly, after my current ongoing experience would not sell nor have them rental manage anything ever as it’s an utter shambles.

Relocating to Brighton can be quite stressful for me, especially when it comes to finding housing. Fortunately, Anya helped us find an ideal place for me and my daughter and guided us through the necessary steps. She was incredibly helpful. I highly recommend her services with a 5-star rating!

Despite Lextons representing the Vendors our interactions with Josh and Tara were always met with professionalism and fairness. They both persevered throughout the process to ensure a positive outcome for their clients and ourselves as the buyers. Throughout the process they were both effective communicators and resilient with challenges which they worked towards overcoming. We would consider using Lextons as our agents should we be looking to sell our current property in the future. Thanks Josh and Tara.
18th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Consistently keeping me up to date, and going above and beyond their role to get my sale over the line, in particular Alex Powrie, who always made himself available for any question I had. Highly recommend.
27th Mar 2024 (29 days ago)Eightfold is poorly run, with a lack of honesty, integrity and an incredible lack of any concern and respect for their tenants. Eightfold represent all the worst traits of lettings agents. I'm amazed this company get any good reviews at all. Not surprising that most of the good reviews are from landlords and ALL the bad ones from tenants. If you are a tenant, my advice would be to steer well clear of this revolting company if at all possible.

His communication was great, responding promptly to all our questions and kept us informed at every step of the way. He also personally reached out to congratulate us when our offer was accepted, which was a lovely touch. There was a genuine dedication and professionalism throughout the whole experience which made it seamless and enjoyable. Exceptional service and genuine care for clients!
