12th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)Initially found the team to be professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful prior to signing the contract. However, the experience deteriorated quickly afterward. Communication has been extremely poor and often unresponsive, with commitments made that were not followed through. Overall, the service has felt disorganized and significantly below expectations for a letting management agent. The property continues to be shown in its current condition, which raises questions about their standards and oversight. Additionally, their knowledge of the local area appeared limited, which further reduced confidence in their ability to manage effectively. Based on my experience, I would not recommend using them for lettings.
14th Jun 2021 (5 years ago)Paul Bott is an 'old school' agent who prides himself on providing a high quality personal service, meeting potential buyers himself rather than delegating to the usual bored or over keen teenage recruit you get with most agents.
5th Feb 2026 (20 weeks ago)Sam & Hannah have been excellent, they've kept me informed of all viewings and feedback from prospective buyers. It's been a hard sellers market for the last 6 mths, I've had over 30 viewings, which is a credit to Oakley's. Thank you
7th Sep 2025 (9 mo. ago)They have been generally good to deal with and have been efficient. Where there have been minor errors and changes to sort out, these have been dealt with promptly. I have had the complication of being in Hertfordshire selling my sister's property in Brighton. This has been handled well so far .

We agreed terms and conditions, Michael and his team Julie, Anita, Julie and the beautiful puppy Remy were extremely supportive and helpful throughout. Being new to East Sussex they have provided us with lots of useful information and recommendations helping us settle into our new home. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Michael and his team.
23rd Mar 2026 (14 weeks ago)It is rare to find an estate agent that provides a professional service. Ian & Ryan are fair, balanced, landlord and customer focused from a landlord and tenant perspective. Far better than the large faceless chains and online offers.
1st May 2026 (8 weeks ago)Called to enquire about renting spoke to a lady called Jo who identified as the sales and letting manager very unprofessional and abrupt boarderline ….. further attempt of communication was met with no response would never answer or return my calls this lead me to take business else where . To sum them up very unprofessional,rude,incompetent and would recommend not using this company AVOID and carry on with you day

They collected several months of rent in advance from the tenant, but it has now been three months and they still have not paid us the money that is owed to us. Communication has been poor, and the delay is completely unacceptable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this agency.

The focus on the presentation helped get people in the door and I believe heled them see themselves in the flat. He was helpful through the offer process when I was keen to take the first one. I’m glad I didn’t.

The images to support my sale were some of the best I've ever seen, with additional video and drone images of the area. His narrative to describe my home was engaging not just a bland description of a room. He understood that you are not just selling a property but a lifestyle. I cannot rate him high enough..png)
