6th Sep 2026 (21 days ago)Having had various experiences with large estate agencies in the past, we cannot recommend the team at Austin Beck, Burnside, Rutherglen highly enough. Initially, we had used them and successfully sold our Dads house, and now, 11 years later, we have engaged them again in selling another property.<br>Stella & the team provide an honest & genuine customer experience at all times, communicating and managing the process from marketing to viewings as well as assisting their clients through the daunting task of selling a property.<br>They are consummate professionals and their chairside manner facilitates a confidence and trust that your business is in safe and capable hands.
19th Apr 2026 (23 weeks ago)I had an excellent experience with Slater Hogg Bishopbriggs. From start to finish, the service and communication were outstanding. A special mention has to go to Kim, who was absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process. She kept me informed every step of the way, was always quick to respond, had a clear strategy and made everything feel smooth and stress-free. Overall, a brilliant service and a genuinely positive experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, reliable, and effective estate agent.

From start to finish the team were efficient , friendly , very caring and very professional .Everything was explained and our wishes understood. The communication was excellent and we were constantly updated . We went to a closing date in less than two weeks and received seven offers<br>Their online reach is second to none , something we had not considered before talking to the team, but certainly gives them a significant advantage<br>Huge thanks to the entire team , but in particular Ellece, Rebecca and Andrew

11th Mar 2026 (6 mo. ago)Everything was explained plainly about costs and procedures etc. i had no concerns about the whole process and I could leave it in their hands without having to concern myself about anything. All staff I engaged with were friendly and professional, answering questions about the whole process. My experience has been completely positive and I would have no reservations about recommending them to others.

20th Dec 2023 (2 years ago)Absolutely pathetic service. We we lied to from the onset. Rod wouldn't get back for up to a month at a time. Carried out useless work for over inflated prices without permission. Incidentally nothing materialaliaed with anything that he said he had done. Sorry excuse of an Estate Agent and I would keep away real nightmare of a man. He would phone up every 3 to 4 months and say how much did you pay for your property originally and did this for years.

10th Apr 2026 (24 weeks ago)I'd say 1 star is too generous. As stated from numerous other reviews the owner George is a very unpleasant human being. From the very beginning I had issues with the storage heaters not working properly and horrible problems with damp and mould that kept getting ignored and not taken seriously and the solution to this was to keep all windows open all day and night in the height of winter( it was that cold my pipes had frozen) From this George lied to me about the landlord wanting me out of the property yet couldn't provide evidence of this all because he didn't want to take responsibility that his company was failing their basic responsibilities and during this conversation George actively threatened me with violence because I wasn't backing down to his bullying. After stating that I was recording the whole conversation he very quickly changed his tune and wanted to finally try and help but by doing this passed my number onto a central heating company to change over the storage heaters which I was to pay for myself which is ludicrous from a renter. Lastly when I moved out, I had the property cleaned and painted and left items that were already there when I moved in yet tried claiming I had left them and left the property in an unreasonable state especially marks on Walls that were continously having to be cleaned due to black mould, yet never contested giving back the full deposit which shows they were trying to be awkward and difficult for the sake of it. If you can, please stay away from this company.
6th Aug 2026 (7 weeks ago)Unfortunately, our experience with Housespotters Estate Agents was very disappointing, mainly because of poor communication and a lack of professionalism throughout the process.<br>Before our house was put on the market, Amanda was very confident that she could achieve a certain price for our property. However, our first concern was when the photos were taken using a phone rather than professional camera equipment. Although phone cameras are good these days, the photos did not have the quality we expected for selling a property. When the advert went live, there were too many photos, and some did not show the house in the best way.<br><br>The biggest problem for us was communication. After the first week, it became difficult to get updates. There were very few viewings, and things did not improve while we were with them. Calls often went unanswered, and promised call-backs rarely happened. We often felt like we were chasing them for information rather than being kept updated.<br><br>After around three weeks of frustration, we decided to end our agreement with them. What disappointed us most was that there was no real effort to understand why we wanted to leave. We were simply asked to pay the marketing fee so the property could be taken off the market. Once we paid, the only reply we received was confirmation of payment and a short “good luck” message.<br>After this, I noticed I had been blocked on WhatsApp and social media. I also emailed about removing the “For Sale” sign but received no reply or confirmation that this had been arranged.<br><br>Overall, our experience with Housespotters Estate Agents was very poor. Based on what we experienced, I would not recommend them to others. The level of communication, professionalism and customer service was not what we expected when selling our home.

Their communication was excellent throughout the process and I was constantly kept in the loop with the progress and what the next steps would be. I would highly recommend.
5th Mar 2026 (6 mo. ago)Very unimpressed with this company.Frlt they were all promise with no substance, made several assertions to get our business which we found to be inaccurate.Did not listen to us throughout and did not respond well to feedback. Sorry to say but there must be many better agents out there if a fair assessment is made.

4th Aug 2025 (1 year ago)Selling our home with NEST in Falkirk was a great experience, we’d gladly recommend them. From the outset, communication was prompt, clear, and consistent, and we were kept well informed throughout the entire process. They were always at hand by phone and email. The local office very useful to be able to pop in when needed. Our first meeting with Lyndsay was for the valuation. It was far more than just putting a price on the property, she took the time to understand our needs and provided thoughtful, informed advice about the process ahead. Her approach struck a balance between profession and a personal touch. Elaine was equally helpful, always quick to respond and offer reassurance when needed. With young children and pets, coordinating viewings could have been challenging, but the team made it easy. They worked with us to create a schedule that suited our routines and always provided plenty of notice. The photos and floorplan were handled by a professional photographer who did an excellent job with both the photography and floorplan. We were very pleased with how the property was presented. Communication was one of the standout aspects of the experience. We received regular updates on viewings, and all materials were reviewed with us first. The team were considerate in choosing how to communicate, using email when appropriate and picking up the phone when needed. They liaised efficiently with all parties involved and helped ensure a smooth process. Most importantly, we felt genuinely supported by a team that listened, guided us thoughtfully, and remained fully engaged from start to finish. No impersonal web portal, just real people, ready to help. The house sold quickly, and we couldn’t be happier with the way NEST handled the sale.

Their communication is excellent both by phone and email. Photos of the property looked amazing. We were out of touch with selling but they were always on hand to explain and keep us right. They offer the full package selling, buying and legal services which saves you having to look elsewhere Thank you

They answer calls and emails promptly, and the team are always very helpful.<br>Special thanks to Gillian who was on the ball from day one. ??????

19th Sep 2026 (8 days ago)I don’t normally leave reviews, but after the service we received from Coats & Hall I felt I had to.<br><br>We recently sold our home in Gartcosh and couldn’t recommend them highly enough. The photos and video looked fantastic, communication was excellent and we were kept updated throughout including evenings and weekends.<br><br>The whole process was straightforward and stress free, and most importantly we received an offer much higher than we ever thought possible.<br><br>If you’re thinking of selling your home, I’d definitely recommend Coats & Hall. I can’t thank David and his team enough.

10th Sep 2026 (17 days ago)We had a really poor experience of selling through Allen and Harris Dennistoun and would not recommend their services. We had lots of issues from start to finish which made an already stressful process much harder than it needed to be. There were so many promises made when we signed the contract that were never realised and the communication throughout was really poor. Issues included:<br>- telling us we could be live on the market by a certain date (we had to sell quickly) but that date was then pushed back and back.<br>- telling us they would value the property at a certain price, which then had to be lowered before going live as their external surveyor disagreed with their assessment<br>- when we went live, viewings were made for almost two weeks later despite them originally saying we would look to a closing date at the end of the week we went live<br>- really poor quality marketing photos to the point even viewers mentioned to us that the photos made the decoration look really bad and they were surprised it was so nice in person<br>- being told the estate agent would do all viewings but we had to do them all ourselves as there was always a reason the estate agent couldn't make them<br>- having multiple viewers attend viewings having not seen the home report and noting they have been phoning Allen and Harris every day to request it but still not received it<br>- spending all Saturday making the place immaculate for a TikTok tour of the flat, which was never put on TikTok<br><br>By the end we felt that we sold our flat in spite of the estate agents, not because of them. Our experience with the estate agent we bought our new home from just made it even clearer how poor Allen and Harris were and how much easier things can be with a decent estate agent on your side.
