Helpful and responsive staff, no problems during tenancy, easy contact with the landlord. Good experience in overall.

The worst letting agency I’ve ever had to deal with. Moved into a flat 2 years ago where friends of mine used to live in and, while it had been cleaned, there were many issues left unfixed. Grill not working, tragic plumbing system, carpets coming off and, despite us mentioning them to the agency, they were never properly addressed. After one year of tenancy, two of my friends moved in and the agency didn’t deep clean the flat, nor provide us with an inventory. We brought up different issues throughout the year and nothing was done yet again. The end of the tenancy came and I had been warned by friends already that Fineholm would try and take away our deposit, which they did. Made us pay over £150 to “replace” the cooker which was actually working fine (but hadn’t been cleaned professionally at the start of the second tenancy), almost £300 for cleaning (which, again, was a year overdue on their part) and an extra £50. We contested and provided evidence but nothing happened and we were still charged this embarrassingly high amount of money. We also know that other people have already moved into the flat, so who knows whether our money has really been used to fix all the issues they brought up at the end of the tenancy. Another big problem was a total lack of communication on their part, with inspections being cancelled on the day or emails constantly ignored by people in the office. Overall, terrible, terrible experience. Highly discourage anyone from renting through Fineholm.
