5th Feb 2026 (12 weeks ago)Bought my first home used these for my mortgage advisors and honestly made the whole thing stress free for me, they was patient with me aswell as I was speaking to one of there workers for 6 years and he was so nice explained everything to me really well his name is Owen Eastwood I would recommend this place to anyone planning to buy a house and would give it a 10 star if I could because he made this journey so easy for me

29th Apr 2026 (2 days ago)For the most part our experience of Boardwalk was incredibly positive. Our estate agent Ester was 5 stars and genuinely was the best we've ever worked with after spending a prolonged period of buying and selling properties over the past few years with several estate agents from various companies. Ester's communication is above and beyond and I genuinely doubt you'll find a better estate agent. From her alone the premium you pay for Boardwalk is worth it. The reason however I am giving Boardwalk 4 stars is due to the sales progression side of the business. The communication was not up to the standard you would expect for the price you pay. Slow and at times unattentive comms with moments where you had to chase to get a response. Their online portal Property File is ok however our sales progressor either would update the sales progression steps late after they had happened or nor at all for both myself and our buyer. My property has sold and the sale completed and however on their portal it is still showing as the contract having not been signed yet. It's a confusing and destabilising time selling a property especially if you're unsure at what stage of the process you're at. Having the ability to see step by step where you and your buyer are in the process is in theory extremely useful however if, like in our case, it isn't used and that attention to detail just isn't there then what is the point of having it? If anything it adds to the anxiety of feeling in limbo which you naturally feel when selling/purchasing. So on this side of things the comms needs to be upped, which from reading other reviews, seems to be a common theme. It is a shame as this let down the otherwise flawless start of our Boardwalk experience that we had with Ester. In short great selling, weaker sales progression customer journey.

18th Apr 2026 (13 days ago)We looked at a few properties in the Wickford area & had the pleasure of being shown round by Caroline, she was fantastic with her knowledge of the properties & was very accomodating with time at the viewings, she understood our needs & when the property we are now in the process of buying came on the market she knew it would tick all the boxes we had. She went out of her way to ensure a viewing for us before a family trip to Scotland & she was right when saying it was right for us. The rest of the team in Wickford have been great as well but Caroline desrves all the credit for finding us our perfect home. Thanks again to all involved

Always available, always charming, always diligent in following up the slightest lead. He has already achieved a sale with one and I am sure will soon do so with the second.Very happy to have been introduced to him.

24th Apr 2026 (7 days ago)Ryan came to value our property in Westcliff. I was so impressed with his knowledge of the area. I have never had an agent know who built my house and approximately when! His valuation of the property was more than I expected and he took the time to explain how he had arrived at the figure by looking at other properties in the area etc. Although we are not ready to sell our house at present, I will definitely contact Ryan when we are ready. He was polite professional and punctual.

27th Mar 2026 (5 weeks ago)THE RUDEST ESTATE AGENT I HAVE EVER COME ACCROSS IN MY LIFE! Usually you would expect to be welcomed to to a property you are looking to buy, invited to park on the drive so you can see what it would be like to live there. Not Claudia Romano, who arrives 1 minute before the appointment, shouting out of her car door, "I'M THE ESTATE AGENT SO I GET TO PARK THERE!". And then, once we have driven around and finally found somewhere to park, has the cheek to tell us that we're late and we will not have a full appointment - when we were there first! Prospective sellers - avoid at all costs!!!

22nd Apr 2026 (9 days ago)Overpromised, underdelivered... Did nothing other than put a poor listing up on rightmove. After advising them on a better way to do it, they didnt. The initial conversation made it sound like a guaranteed sale as they are the best agent... Also, didnt take listing down after telling them i wasnt happy and wanted it removed. This naturally has a negative impact on sale.
27th Apr 2026 (4 days ago)I was recommended to Balgores Estate Agents, Wickford office by my friend Liz, and despite a hard long slog to sell my parents home I am greatful she did and I cannot fault the service that the Balgores team provided. The sale suffered several setbacks and numerous delays, all outside the control of Balgores, but despite this the team dusted themselves off every time and renewed their efforts. Special mention to both Ewan and Georgia for excellent communication and sheer bloody-minded perseverance getting us over the line. For professionalism and customer service I would highly recommend Balgores.
