8th Jul 2026 (20 days ago)If you're thinking about moving home, do your research before choosing an estate agent. I wish I had. Looking back, I made the mistake of assuming that using the estate agent selling the property I wanted to buy would make the process easier and quicker. It didn't. What I didn't realise at the time was how much difference the right estate agent can make. That difference was Hannon Holmes. From the very first viewing, Gill and Naomi made me feel comfortable, supported and valued. There was no pressure, no sales tactics, just genuine people who cared about helping both buyers and sellers through what can be one of the most stressful experiences in life. One of the best things they encouraged me to do was meet the seller of my new home. At the time I didn't realise how valuable that would be, but it turned out to be one of the most helpful parts of the entire process. It gave me confidence in the purchase, meant I had someone I could contact if I had any questions about the house, and we've actually become friends. Throughout the purchase, Gill and Naomi kept me informed every step of the way. I never felt like I was chasing updates or being left in the dark. They communicated regularly, explained what was happening, and genuinely cared about making sure everything progressed as smoothly as possible. What stood out most was that they saw people, not transactions. They cared about both the buyer and the seller. They listened, they supported, and they always made me feel like I mattered. Buying and selling a home can be overwhelming. There are moments of uncertainty, frustration and stress. Having people like Gill and Naomi in your corner makes all the difference. They are professional, approachable, honest and committed to getting the best outcome for their clients. If you're looking for an estate agent that will genuinely have your back, I would recommend Hannon Holmes without hesitation. I only wish I had chosen them from the very beginning. Thank you, Gill and Naomi, for turning what could have been a difficult experience into a positive one. Your care, communication and commitment did not go unnoticed. For anyone planning a move: do your research, read the reviews, and choose an estate agent that puts people first. For me, that estate agent is Hannon Holmes.
6th Aug 2025 (11 mo. ago)All the agents kept us updated as to the feedback from viewers and eventually when we had an offer on the house unfortunately it took a long time to complete but that was the fault of the solicitors. I cannot fault the Estate Agents

Chose Franca thinking she would be good during the final (post offer but pre contract exchange) stage in the process, but it's someone else at Philip James that handles that side of things (who also seems good, but worth bearing in mind)!
14th Jan 2021 (5 years ago)Found that viewing were being booked but some never showed, offers were being made but always mysteriously disappear or are not chased back. Just lost confidence completely. The feedback was vague also.

They are extremely reliable and always on the other end of the phone/email when needed. I know a few of my friends have also used this agent and have the same feedback. Thanks again :)

2nd Dec 2025 (7 mo. ago)We had a very pleasant experience with the estate agent and the staff. They kept me updated on the progress of the viewings and the feedback from the viewers. We find them very helpful.
13th May 2026 (11 weeks ago)Tried buying a house and had the worst experience ever. Leasehold listed as freehold. Firstly the didn’t present the offer to buyer u til chased. Paul who was handling the deal was away most of the time. Property was moved to Sold STC & then back on market before the survey report come back. Complete silence for over a month after asking for negotiations. The whole process was stressful and very frustrating. Seller solicitors to hold initial contract pack. I would stay away and look elsewhere.

Helen Larkin and Beverly were Amazing , we had a lot of ups and downs selling ,nothing but things we couldn’t foresee ,but they were there every step of the way to help and reassure ,it would have been a hard time without them , so a massive Thank you !jane and family

19th Nov 2022 (3 years ago)Everyone at the Estate Agency have been very helpful and informative. They have guided me through the process and have explained each step. They set my expectations at the beginning, which was good. The process has been a smooth one. They fitted in visits around my shifts. I liked the fact that the viewings were done on one day without me being there (great when you live with a toddler) They have always been prompt in replying to any messages. They have made this part as stress free as possible for me.
