20th Jan 2026 (7 weeks ago)BE AWARE??SCAMMERS ??Such an AWFUL and HORRIBLE agency it is and very rude to clients and especially foreigners ?..they don’t even deserve even a single star ????this what happened.we saw the flat online phoned them,and actually went to their office in queens road.we agreed on the viewing date.mind you no one else had viewed the property.on the day of viewing,the lady claimed that she took the wrong key for the property ????we had to organise another appointment.we did view the property and immediately paid the holding fee.paperwork started.sent everything they needed.according to them,the landlord had accepted us.I waited for 7 days for their response to know what next ,no response no emails,no nothing.phoned them and said the landlord considered someone else.i was very pissed off coz av been waiting for 7days and they didn’t have the courtesy to even communicate.anyways I told them I need my money back asap.glad av received my holding back..back they’re ????rubbish,and also very rude to foreigners.BE AWARE!!!!!! SCAMMERS!!!???

17th Feb 2026 (24 days ago)My partner and I put an offer in on a property advised by Kirkham property last month, we offered the asking price and the offer was accepted and we were told it will be sale dependant due to my partner needing to sell his house. The property remained on the market and we were told by Sue Needham that we will be informed if the property received any other offers. We have since looked on Rightmove and noticed the property is now sold STC. We were never told of this and are extremely disappointed with the poor communication and service by Sue representing Kirkham property. We have since further enquired to view another property, my partner spoke to Sue Needham and she informed him that she needs to speak to the seller as they are living in the house so she will ring him back with availability. WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR THIS CALL BACK.

9th Jan 2026 (9 weeks ago)Absolutely unacceptable service. We have been waiting for months for this state agency to fix our boiler. Every time we call, we are given empty promises and excuses. Someone is always “scheduled to come,” yet nobody ever turns up. Living without a properly working boiler for this long is unacceptable, especially from an agency that is supposed to support residents. This level of incompetence and lack of care is shocking.

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Sarah O’Brien performed the valuation and I appreciated the information she had preprepared and advice she gave. Her approach was the deciding factor in why I chose A Wilson. I was lucky in that my sale was swift and straightforward and I found everyone in the office including Sarah Connolly extremely helpful and friendly. Every time I had need to call my query was dealt with and followed up, communication was brilliant and they kept the process moving. I found everyone very efficient and they did everything I needed very quickly. The whole team made what could have been a stressful experience very smooth and quick. I would recommend A Wilson to anyone selling their home and I am very happy with my decision to use them.

20th Feb 2026 (21 days ago)I wish I had instructed Paul to sell my property initially because it had languished with 2 well known agents for Months without any sensible sale plan/updates.<br>Paul offered straight talking, no nonsense advice. We had an offer within days of the viewings.<br>Go with an agent who is as committed as you are to sell and will add valuable insight to the process. You won't be disappointed with Paul.

I felt really comfortable with Dannielle who did the viewings in my home she made it a pleasure and reassured me through this process which can be quite a stressful time. The pictures of our home were absolutely beautiful and the knowledge of all the staff was second to none they really knew how to market for this type of house, and who would be looking. It only took them three weeks to sell!! I was kept informed at all steps by the guys in the office so the communication was great! If you’re looking for a knowledgable, professional firm but with a lovely family vibe, that you feel you can trust with one of the biggest decisions in life then West Ridings estate agency will be the perfect fit!
