24th Aug 2026 (21 days ago)? 1 Star – I Would Not Recommend This Estate Agency<br>I would strongly advise anyone considering renting through this estate agency to think twice. My experience from moving in to moving out has been extremely disappointing.<br>When I first moved into Aylestone Road the property, was in a terrible condition. The flooring was coming up, door handles were broken, the carpets were brown and had a foul smell, and there were cracks in the walls. I even had to spend my own money removing a sofa and wardrobe that had been left in the property, as well as painting and improving the flat myself just to make it feel presentable and liveable.<br>After I had put my own time and money into improving the property, I later asked to add my partner to the tenancy and the agency then attempted to increase the rent, despite the fact that I was the one who had paid towards improving the condition of the flat.<br>Repairs were another issue. Whenever something needed fixing, I experienced long delays, including waiting over two weeks for repairs to be dealt with.<br>The most frustrating part has been moving out. After the condition the property was originally given to me in, the agency is now attempting to make deductions from my deposit for issues I do not believe I am responsible for, including cleaning and what I consider to be normal wear and tear. They have also claimed that charges are required for professional cleaning, despite the fact that we left the property considerably cleaner than when we received them.<br>It is extremely frustrating to improve a property at your own expense, leave it in a better condition than you received it, and then still be faced with attempts to deduct money from your deposit for cleaning and other issues.<br>Based on my experience, I would not recommend this agency. Take plenty of dated photographs and videos of absolutely everything when moving into one of their properties and keep records of all communication, repairs and money you spend on the property.<br>Do not assume your deposit will be straightforward to get back. I certainly would not rent through this agency again.<br><br>Before and photos.

23rd Jun 2026 (12 weeks ago)My estate agent ghosted me!<br><br>I listed my two-bed flat for sale with Melissa Berry in May. It was my first time selling a property, and thankfully Melissa seemed helpful and friendly at the valuation, although she did seem to take my lead on pricing the property rather than guiding me towards a price that she thought would be a best fit. A couple of weeks later she came to take photos – and that was, sadly, the last I saw or heard of her.<br><br>The property had been on the market for a couple of weeks when I emailed to check in, and asked whether there’d been any interest. I did get a reply from a sales agent called Geraldine, saying that someone was interested in viewing the property but wouldn’t be able to visit for a couple of weeks; I replied straight away with my availability and asked what sort of time the viewing would go ahead. No response.<br><br>A week later, I emailed again to ask if the viewing was going ahead. Again, I was ignored. I tried calling, and left messages. Finally, after waiting another week, I emailed one last time to say that I was going to list the flat with another agent and asking Melissa/Geraldine to remove it from their listings. I expected a reply to that, at least – but instead they quietly took the property off their website, again without replying to my email.<br><br>I wasted over a month trying to work with Melissa Berry, only to be completely ghosted and treated as though I didn’t exist. Whether it was something I said or the business has just taken on more clients than it can handle, I recommend avoiding them unless you enjoy the silent treatment: there are plenty of other agencies out there.

The valuation given was higher than expected, and although not realised in the final sale price, was close enough to what I was looking for. Correspondence throughout has been brisk, as ever you warm more to some than others, but all very efficient. I would reuse and recommend them in the future.

My initial valuation with John was professional and informative, the team in the office were always friendly and incredibly helpful, and Michelle was fantastic during the final stages before completion, answering any queries promptly and making everything run smoothly.<br>They really made what can be a challenging and stressful process feel much easier. Having used different estate agents in the past, I can honestly recommend Kirkham with complete confidence and wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.<br><br>Thank you to the whole team for such a great experience!

30th Jul 2026 (7 weeks ago)I cannot recommend Sue and the team at LRG/Leaders highly enough.<br><br>My purchase wasn’t straightforward, with delays outside anyone’s control, but throughout the entire process Sue kept me updated, responded promptly to my emails, and was always reassuring, kind, professional and incredibly patient.<br><br>Communication was excellent from start to finish, and I always felt informed about what was happening.<br><br>Massive thanks to Sue and the team for all of your hard work in helping me purchase my first home. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the team to anyone buying or selling a property.

He handled the sale of my house with a really high level of professionalism, I’d previously used a more traditional estate agent as I hadn’t come across EweMove, the contrast was night and day and Paul made the selling experience enjoyable.<br><br>Paul was knowledgeable, approachable and kept everything moving when it could easily have become stressful. I really appreciated his patience, communication and the way he conducted himself throughout the process.<br><br>A genuinely excellent estate agent and a real credit to the team. Thank you, Paul!
