10th Nov 2025 (11 mo. ago)Avoid Hills Estate Agency at All Costs!! I have spent the past year being over-promised and massively under-delivered by Hills. The experience has been nothing short of a disaster. There has been a complete failure in communication from start to finish. I was repeatedly given “estimated completion dates” that never materialised, followed by weeks even over a month of no contact whatsoever. Because of their poor advice, I am now over £2,000 out of pocket. The unprofessionalism is staggering. Staff openly discussed the seller’s personal finances, telling me the seller “had no money” and describing them as “an absolute nightmare customer.” Imagine paying Hills thousands of pounds to sell your property, only for them to bad-mouth you to the buyer. Completely unacceptable. Given this behaviour, it’s no surprise there are so many negative reviews online. I submitted a formal complaint and received a response from Charlotte today no empathy, no apology. If this is how a director behaves, it’s clear why the rest of the staff follow suit. If you value your time, your money and your sanity, avoid Hills like the plague!! Useless!!

1st Oct 2026 (29 days ago)Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this agency based on my experience. Throughout the entire buying process, I found the agency to be very unhelpful and, once the seller accepted our offer, they essentially washed their hands of the process. Emails often went unanswered, and communication was neither professional nor transparent.<br>I was also given a number of statements and assurances about the property during the sales process which later proved to be misleading and, in my opinion, amounted to mis-selling. This was extremely disappointing, especially when making such a significant purchase.<br>I genuinely regret having to leave a review like this, as I am not normally someone who leaves negative reviews, but the way this was handled was simply not acceptable. I would not recommend this agency to anyone.<br><br>Edit<br>What kind of answer is that? "Should you wish to discuss further"<br>Ridiculous!

They both played an important role in helping us through the process, answering our questions, providing guidance, and making sure everything moved in the right direction.<br><br>Although we experienced some delays, mainly due to matters on the seller's side, Ben, Nick, and the rest of the team handled everything professionally and did their best to keep the process moving towards a successful completion.<br><br>Buying a home is a major milestone and can sometimes be stressful, but having such a reliable and dedicated team made a real difference. 28th Aug 2025 (1 year ago)Overall a mixed bag of opinions, chris himself who does the show rounds is lovely but buying your first home is a bit of a minefield to say the least, We had two failed property's with them. 1st property where the seller pulled out because we wouldn't pay 3.6k towards HIS defective lease this went on for a few months and resulted on us missing the deadline of our tenancy end in our current property. The estate agents was not considerate of the situation & didn't offer anything else within our criteria and just went about their day knowing we'd still be open to further properties as we were staying in air bnb's and hotels at the time. They just re listed the property as "newly" on the market when in fact it had been listed for the best part of 6-8 months prior. The second property we went to attend a viewing in which they hadn't pencilled in and we had to call whilst being stood outside for 15 minutes. to which we was told we never confirmed even though we had written confirmation of both ourselves and themselves agreeing a time etc, We was then rushed during this viewing because they'd double booked. We went onto register interest in another property and just never received a follow up. We shown interest in this property more than once left vm's and emails. If you're thinking about selling i would not use them as they don't care about you at all & have probably scared many other potential buyers off as well. After a whole year we managed to find a house with another estate agents stress free, This house did not come with free mould, soiled floorboards, leaking roofs, Landlord special cover ups & the area was not mis sold as a nice area when in fact it gave shameless a good run for its money.

The lettings process was smooth from start to finish and they found solid tenants without any hassle. Feels like they’re looking after the property properly, which gives me peace of mind.

From the start, viewing the property to completion, the team at Stockton Heath were amazing. We had a lot of difficulties in the sale of our house but the communication from Amy between us and our seller was brilliant and so reassuring. Amy was super on it and any time she promised to call us back she did, absolutely no chasing required. Highly impressed and highly recommend.

19th Oct 2026 (11 days ago)Kelly showed us around the property with real care and took the time to explain how offers and acceptances work on both parties, which was genuinely helpful. We ultimately decided not to go ahead with the property but she never pushed or rushed us toward a decision. She also kept in touch both before and after the viewing which made the whole process feel smooth and well looked after.<br><br>I'd happily recommend Kelly to anyone buying or selling.

They were efficient in allowing the survey to book in & even sorted out getting a wasps nest sorted within 24 hours. Great team if I sell in the future would definitely use them very professional service. Thanks Jill

He carried out thorough research and took the time to properly assess the property. What really made a difference was how clearly he explained the valuation and the reasoning behind it, something no other agent did. It gave me real confidence that we were in the right hands.<br><br>Throughout the process, the team were fantastic. They kept me fully updated and handled all the viewings, which took a huge weight off my shoulders during a sensitive time.<br><br>A special thank you to Chelsea, who was incredible. She supported me every step of the way, especially when I had a few wobbles. She was always patient, reassuring, and happy to answer all my questions (even the daft ones!).
