6th Apr 2024 (14 days ago)Our experience with Mov8 was easy they kept us informed with viewing and communication was prompt. The only thing was their offices are in Edinburgh and Glasgow and we are in Carnoustie which was a little inconvenient if we needed to go to their office to sign things
14th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)Lack of communication and not pro-active as I had to instigate them doing anything. Pricing is terrible everything is an extra add on with vat on everything. Too expensive for lack of contact and or proactivity.

15th Apr 2024 (5 days ago)When the valuer first came to see our property we were very impressed and excited by his demeanor, he was very enthusiastic and he promised us he could get us top market prices and that he would have “no problem” in selling our home. We quickly found out that Igloo don’t phone you to inform you that you have a viewing as we had people turning up to view our home when we were unaware and not ready to have a viewing. Also days would go by after we did have a viewing without Igloo letting us know how it went or even that they were having trouble contacting the viewers. It took 6 months for us to sell our home, with us phoning Igloo several times to discuss lowering the price or changing something in our property. Not once did anyone from Igloo phone to discuss how we could sell the house quicker. In the end we lowered our asking price by £15000 and sold it that morning. Had there been a more accurate price put on the property, or Igloo had called to explain that the market was fluctuating then the property would have sold quicker and we would have been able to look at new properties rather than still making mortgage payments on the property we were in
12th Feb 2024 (10 weeks ago)We used S&P successfully 7 years ago to sell our previous flat so decided to use them again. David Law was professional, engaging, and has excellent local knowledge. He was also realistic which we found most reassuring. We were then introduced to Ian Ely-Corbett who went out of his way to make the process of selling our home stress free and run as smoothly as possible. He was easy to contact by email or phone or text. We would highly recommend them to anyone wishing to sell their property. What made the difference was S&P’s personal service and attention to detail.

9th Jun 2019 (4 years ago)Do not trust this company. We dealt with the previous iteration of the owners company and are now being left to clean up their mess. We should have gotten rid of them sooner.... leaving this review in the hope that other landlords won’t have to deal with the loss of over £2000 in rental payments plus the stress of figuring out what to do with our tenant now... even with the loss of rent I still may have left a good review if Amanda and Craig has worked with us to help figure things out (or even provide the tenants details) but the only response to any communication that we have is to essentially gloat that their old company doesn’t exist and there is no recourse for us. Pretty poor behaviour for a human being never mind a business owner.

20th Feb 2024 (9 weeks ago)It’s taken me 4 years to get here and, like just about every ancient building around, I turn up and it’s closed. At least there’s not a load of scaffolding wrapped around it, I suppose. It’s a pleasant circular walk around the reserve to get there, but even better if you park up at Threave Gardens and walk across. I’ll return for the ospreys and bring some sand and lime cement to hurry repairs along a bit.

She was friendly, helpful, efficient, highly organised and always totally on top of the legal aspects of the purchase. Will definitely use Gebbie and Wilson for any future legal work.
