23rd Aug 2023 (3 years ago)Ever since being a tenant in my current accommodation nearing 6 years I have nothing bad to say. Very reassuring from the get go, as a nervous, unsure 1st time tenant. Have helped guide myself, struck great communication on behalf of myself with my landlady. Nothing is ever a problem either if something needs to be done.

12th Jun 2026 (17 weeks ago)Our tenancy was years ago, but I came across some old correspondence and realised I should leave a warning for others.<br><br>Renting through Apple Estates was a nightmare.<br><br>Key issues included:<br><br>Being deliberately misled that a bathroom was ours when it belonged to the shop next door.<br>The shopkeeper letting strangers into our home daily to use the facilities, resulting in a complete loss of privacy and security.<br>The property being dangerously unsafe, including shutters that would lock us in without another fire exit.<br>Critical repairs being ignored for weeks.<br><br>Would very, very strongly advise against using this agency.<br><br>-<br><br>UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER:<br><br>The agency's reply below is entirely fabricated to deflect blame.<br><br>The toilet: We were absolutely NOT aware the toilet was shared, we were explicitly misled from the start.<br><br>"Difficult tenants": This is a completely unfounded accusation. We were respectful, paid everything on time, and looked after the place so well that we received our deposit back in full.<br><br>The tenancy: The conditions were so bad that one of my flatmates moved out early and (essentially paying double rent - for his share of this flat and his new flat).<br><br>Finally, I note that the agency has directed people to the 'testimonials' page on their own website as proof of their great service. I'll leave it to anyone reading this to decide who is more trustworthy: independent, verified Google reviews, or the self-selected praise a company chooses to publish about themselves.

When they did pick up, they told me they’ll call me back after 15 minutes without even taking my number. It’s been an hour now, no one called. If that’s how it is from the beginning, then I will not be giving them my money.

If you like to rent, buy or sell a property, choose Haymills agency , because the waiting time to process the documents is very short and any issues are very quickly resolved.
9th Aug 2026 (9 weeks ago)Terrible communication and zero response for 2 months I have been asking the lettings team for two months regarding a broken door closer at my property, and I have been completely ignored. Agents have a legal responsibility to maintain property fixtures, but this agency completely ghosts tenants once they've moved in. If you are looking for a reliable managing agent that actually responds to repair requests, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere. Extremely disappointing customer service.

13th Jun 2026 (17 weeks ago)Their communication was poor. One of their sales person dealing with my flat left just one day without no handover. Therefore my sales took weeks longer than it should have been. They are cheaper but they come at huge price of delays and lack of communication.
