29th Oct 2025 (1 year ago)My experience with Walker Laird was very good. We gave them the keys for the house and they showed everyone round the property. Arranging all of the viewings themselves. The house sold within 2 weeks without any problems.

27th Jul 2026 (14 weeks ago)"Appalling experience - Extreme professional negligence, arrogance, and harassment"<br>I highly recommend avoiding this firm. After the completion of my property sale, the paralegal, Ceitidh Bryden, demonstrated absolute arrogance and a shocking lack of professional ethics. Her communication was completely unacceptable, to the point where she even resorted to shouting at me over the phone.<br>Despite a formal agreement via email for a £200 price deduction regarding house preparation (which was successfully applied to the final settlement), this firm failed to properly update the final missives due to sheer laziness. Worse still, after the funds were legally settled and under my control, she sided with the buyer to launch an aggressive psychological intimidation campaign. They forwarded threatening emails in red text and unlawfully demanded my personal overseas address without any legal basis, strictly violating data protection principles and professional boundaries. Pure malpractice, uneducated behaviour, and zero integrity. Avoid at all costs."<br><br>Alex

From my first meeting with Natalie through to the viewing, appraisal and agreement of the services included, the whole process was straightforward and handled smoothly. Vivien was initially my day-to-day contact and was consistently friendly, thorough and helpful. Once the closing date had been set, Brandan managed the handover seamlessly, ensuring that everything remained clear, concise and on track. The photography and drone footage were of an excellent standard, and the property sold within six weeks of coming to market for above the asking price. At what was a difficult time for our family, the team provided a professional, supportive and efficient service. I could not have wished for a better experience and would happily recommend Galbraith in Ayr.

Friendly and professional at every stage with absolutely no pressure applied. Sales materials, from really well-wriiten text to superb videos, including drone footage of the property and surrounds, were outstanding. Good at helping manage the sale, discussing useful changes and following up and reporting back prospective buyer interests and dislikes. I can't imagine the process being handled better. A big thanks to the area director Allan and manager, Seona.

Little that I know that my previous tenant made such an allegations , which given me distressed . I was not left in the dark to fight that battle. Instead McArthur Scott Estate Agents Team step forward armed with factual evidences . Those factual evidences were crucial against the case that being lodged . I cannot thank enough Chris who made the effort to compile those correspondence and shared to the appropriate panels. I am also appreciative with Lynne to whom I called impromptu to join in the call . She joined in the call right there and then without hesitation . She was incredibly efficient, knowledgeable and friendly, and an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout the whole process of selling our home.<br><br>Our property was sold at closing within a week, and we achieved an incredible price above the Home Report value. 28th Jan 2026 (9 mo. ago)Awful experience. Collected money from owners for roof repairs that never happened, then walked away as factor while still holding the funds. Months of chasing for basic answers and a refund timeline. Communication is dismissive and contradictory, and getting a clear breakdown of what’s been spent and what’s being withheld has been like pulling teeth. Would not recommend to anyone.
