They shared feedback and assisted the sale once we had a buyer by facilitating communication and giving sound advice. Most of the staff at Roy Brooks are female. I would recommend them.

13th Jul 2026 (11 weeks ago)Initial valuation range was at low end of those from several agents consulted. No viewings, so reduced the price range. A few viewings and ultimately an offer below the bottom end of the range. Plans had been made based on initial advice so settling on a significantly Lower price was painful.

I’ve appreciated his guidance and communication and am a bit sad to read other negative comments as they are in stark contrast to our own experience. I would highly recommend.

25th Sep 2019 (7 years ago)This estate agent was worse than useless, very rude and slow. Messed me about with the house I was supposed to buy and move into and was I chargeed £2,500 before they could take the property off the market. Then the sitting tenant refused to move out and it took over 6 months get our money back and only achieved this by report ing them to the Property Ombudman. Lost close to £ 3,000 in findin g an alternative property to buy and had to take them to court. Now they have movrd from their Orsett road premises after they got expelled from the property ombufsman membership and are nowhere to be found... BeEWARE AND DO NOT USE THEM AT ALL

28th Jun 2020 (6 years ago)A small, independent, local company, not your typical estate agent. Excellent experience from start to finish. Very pleasant people to deal with and outstanding sales progression that went the extra mile. Great value for money. Highly recommended.

2nd Jun 2026 (16 weeks ago)Never ever again. Big mistake paying up front fee. I was doing the chasing. Its not an estate agent is it ? I had 4 different agents looking after me in 7 months. Only 1 of them phoned me to touch base. The rest I had to email and was lucky if I even got a reply. Zero local knowledge...waste of time and money.
