With our property, we've been given an opportunity to view it very early (even before an advert was put online) which finally resulted in an accepted offer after 7 months of being on the market. So the experience of working with KFH itself was good. However, the solicitors recommended by the agency (Beverley Morris & Co) were ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE and UNBELIEVABLY slow. Following that advice was a mistake.
I don't usually write reviews but really want to show my appreciation here to Kyle who was so responsive and caring when helping me to find a place to live in London. He made the whole process as stress free as it could have been and really made me feel at ease. Kyle has even checked up since I moved in. Really great service, not only professional but super friendly, thank you so much :)
I rang with the simple question of "Do you do probate valuations?" I could not get a straightforward answer. The employee, who had refrained from giving her name, wanted to know my property details, whether I intended selling through them, which road the property was in? On asking again "Do you do probate valuations?" I was still unable to get a straight forward reply. Wouldn't use them for anything after this. As if dealing with Probate isn't upsetting enough.
Professional, calm and patient help from Chris W at Lee Office of John Payne. He really took the time to go over details with my husband and with Claire P successfully sold the property in as smooth a transaction as possible. Thoroughly recommend the Lee Office team.
Avoid renting from John Payne at all costs. We were shown this property by John Payne in Lee. However, they don't do the management of the rental properties. It means that you don't meet the staff that are responsible for managing your property until after you have paid your holding fee. By that time it can be too late.
We had arranged for the house to be in a certain condition and they lied to us before moving in saying that it would be. We then found the property to be not as agreed and since we saw the property even more maintenance was needed.
This has caused us lots of emotional distress and their poor customer service continued as we went through the complaints process. We took them to the TPO and got a distress and inconvenience award and we have attached the findings below just to show how poor they are.
It seems from the reviews that we aren't the only people they have done this to. The property we were getting was £2100.00pm. For this you would expect a high level of customer service, yet we got the worst we've ever had. Please don't make the same mistake as us and go through these people to rent!
Rented with them for over two years. Excellent staff, efficient and friendly. David Dirkx the letting manager is a credit to the team, he goes above and beyond to help!!

We heard nothing from them in the 12 weeks it took to sell out house, negotiations in the beginning was very poor.
They left all the work to us chasing other agents and solicitors, their excuse was that due to the job I do (mortgage broker) that they felt I knew the process better so wasnt as proactive.
They done no viewings this was left to me the whole process was shambolic they done the easy bit in answering the phone to my buyer who had seen the property through another agent, they then just sat back and done nothing apart from start to put pressure on me when the legals were nearly done in order to get their commission.
We have reported the agent to the ombudsman and await their reply.
Having first dealt with Lilia at my initial viewing of the property, I found her to be very likeable and extremely helpful thereafter. From the viewing to picking up the keys only took a matter of days and the entire process was quick, easy and relatively effortless. Since then I have had absolute no issues and anything that has cropped up has been addressed promptly. I would definitely recommend them!
