29th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)I popped in to Engall Castle during one of my visits when I had decided that I wanted to relocate and downsize to a smaller house in a nice location. I had arranged with Wendy viewings of a few properties when Wendy informed me of a house that was about to go on the market. It was one amongst others that I viewed on the day. A big thank you to Steve who was the one to show me around all the properties and was very friendly, informative and knowledgeable with the information he provided me with. As soon as I came out of the property that I viewed, and which was yet to go on the market, I called Engall Castle and put in an offer. I then arranged a second viewing within a couple of days and Elisha was great and waiting for me. She answered all my questions. The communication along the way, has been outstanding and I have nothing but praise for all the Team members at Engall Castle. I shall be forever grateful ?????? to Wendy for telling me about the house which I absolutely adore. So a big thank you to you all, and you will never know the extent of my gratitude to you all. I wish you all well. Best wishes ?????? xx

22nd Sep 2026 (6 weeks ago)When choosing Avon, communication between myself and Avon, and between Avon and potential buyers was top of my priority. The director was great and didn't great sales pitch. After that communication wasnt great, messages between staff weren't passed on. Information of who to contact after agreeing a sale wasnt clear and the 2 viewers who made offers came after my husband showed them around the house. All in all not the best experience from us. The team however are always polite and friendly.

On the last viewing told us we had secured it in the Saturday only to be told on the Tuesday that there was a higher bid. We have been brought in as a bidding baite in this property. Avoid this agent! No office to even call in

29th Oct 2025 (1 year ago)they lied and charged us for all the marketing material then never used it. we got ZERO enquirers or viewings for over 4 months- then found the online information was WRONG. stating the home is a decade older (i bought it NEW) and worth over £1 million LESS. they refuted to change it, then after we terminated the contract they refuse to rerun the photos we paid for. we spent thousands of pounds and hundreds of hours prepping the house for photos, and paid over £2,000 in total for them.
