They worked hard to liaise with all relevant parties which speeded up the process. I give my especial thanks to Layla. I would recommend them as the best estate agents I have had contact with.

29th Sep 2026 (4 weeks ago)I popped in to Engall Castle during one of my visits when I had decided that I wanted to relocate and downsize to a smaller house in a nice location. I had arranged with Wendy viewings of a few properties when Wendy informed me of a house that was about to go on the market. It was one amongst others that I viewed on the day. A big thank you to Steve who was the one to show me around all the properties and was very friendly, informative and knowledgeable with the information he provided me with. As soon as I came out of the property that I viewed, and which was yet to go on the market, I called Engall Castle and put in an offer. I then arranged a second viewing within a couple of days and Elisha was great and waiting for me. She answered all my questions. The communication along the way, has been outstanding and I have nothing but praise for all the Team members at Engall Castle. I shall be forever grateful ?????? to Wendy for telling me about the house which I absolutely adore. So a big thank you to you all, and you will never know the extent of my gratitude to you all. I wish you all well. Best wishes ?????? xx

We had a property that was relatively easy to sell, but slightly complicated by the fact it was going through probate. Clear communication with potential buyers ensured that there were no slip ups with a slightly longer than usual sale process. We could have appointed other agents for a lower fee, but I think the coverage and marketing from Knight Frank ensured we maximised the sale price and even after any additional agent fees we likely received the best price we could. Also good work from Giselle the sales progressor in seeing it all over the line.
15th Sep 2026 (6 weeks ago)I viewed a property today and travelled to attend the viewing. The viewing itself went well, I told the person I will make a decision tomorrow and they knew I worked and needed to travel and hour away. They agreed. Yet around two hours later I was contacted by another member of the estate agent team and told that another offer had been made and another person had also enquired.<br><br>I explained that I did not want to be rushed into making a decision and that I would consider the property and call the following day. Despite this, I was then told that I needed to make a decision by 11am the next morning.<br><br>I found this extremely pressuring, particularly given that buying a property is a major financial decision and I had already clearly explained that I wanted time to consider it.<br><br>I subsequently spoke to Kate about how I felt pressured during the process. Unfortunately, I felt my concerns were dismissed, with no apology or acknowledgement.<br><br>I appreciate that estate agents may have competing offers, but I believe buyers should be given reasonable time to consider such a significant purchase without being pressured into an immediate decision.<br><br>Based on my experience, I would not use this estate agent again. My first and last time not would I recommend it.

Buying your first home can feel daunting, but Stephen was always at the end of the phone/email for any queries or concerns. He arranged for viewings around my working hours and was very patient and flexible with these. Thanks Stephen!

28th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)From the outset James listened carefully to the information about the house and his approach throughout the process of the sale was very professional and enthusiastic.<br>Ably assisted by the staff the process of selling the house was as straightforward as possible.<br>Every viewing was fully reported and the comments from the viewings were carefully fed back to us.<br>Our dealings have been mainly with Mel, Jacob, Daisy and Rob all of whom have been great to do business with.

The process has been straight forward but lengthy, and during this time property maintenance was needed.<br>Thanks especially to Jacob who has been great !!!

We also appreciated the Flexible Option, which gave us the freedom to decide later in the sales process who would pay the fees.
7th Oct 2026 (23 days ago)The property has not sold. I have moved agents. Emdot maintained no communication except for digital statistics taken from right move etc. I had a call after 2 weeks on the market regarding no viewings suggesting to drop the price - wasn't it them who valued it only 2 weeks previous at that value? 6 weeks later and no verbal communication from them and no viewings. I suggested changing the outside view of the property and a talk over the video plus a couple of descriptive comments. Still no viewings and no suggestions from them so it was time to change agents and try somebody else. I wonder if all clients are ignored for weeks or was there bias in me being a single 65 year old woman - would they have treated a man or younger couple with the same attitude? Very disappointed. If the house had have sold, they would not have earned their commission.

Her advice was invaluable, her persistence was second to none, and her wonderful sense of humour was an absolute godsend when things became stressful.
