Whenever we’ve had questions, he has always been approachable, responsive, and happy to help with both friendly and professional attitude. We were impressed by how quickly he replied to emails, which made the whole moving process feel smooth and stress-free. He made sure everything was prepared in advance and that all of our questions were fully answered. We would highly recommend RA Bennett, and especially Oliver, to anyone looking for a reliable and supportive letting agent. Thank you so much for all your help and support Oliver!

They kept me well-informed throughout the viewing, bidding and conveyancing process, so the service was excellent, thank you.
17th Dec 2025 (15 weeks ago)Were the letting agents for a flat I rented. Bounced between Laura and Katherine during my time. A professional service and amenable to ensure they could accommodate when necessary to ensure I was present for inspections. As with any change over there were teething problems but I was always treated with respect and the team friendly. My main feedback would be that at times written communication can feel very direct and formal compared to face to face or over the phone; however this is likely due to the legal side of the business ensuring they’re covered.
2nd Mar 2026 (5 weeks ago)We had a great experience both selling our house and purchasing our new home via Oulsnam (especially when interacting with both Sarah and Claire). They were very attentive, professional, knowledgeable, responsive to emails and good at communicating with solicitors/mortgage advisers, buyers and vendors as needed. They managed to sell our house very quickly, as well as a second time when it initially fell through; and also making us aware of houses which might be suitable for purchase which were about to come on to market. Would definitely recommend!

17th Dec 2025 (15 weeks ago)Asked if it was possible to get a all be it large reduction on a rental property per month if I were to guarantee the rent for 4/5 years and was sent a very passive aggressive response from the lettings manager Edward Gailey “so just to be clear you’re offering X for a property listed at X per month?” Unwarranted response when he could have just said that this wasn’t possible on this property and then could have suggested some other properties in my bracket! None the less they have lost a tenant that was about to let 4 properties in one go! Oh well, maybe some customer service training wouldn’t go a miss for Mr Gailey lettings manager?
1st Apr 2026 (2 days ago)Really good experience working with Mandy through the whole process. She kept me updated the entire time and made sure I always knew what was going on. Anytime things needed chasing, especially with the solicitors, she was on it straight away and kept everything moving. Took a lot of the stress out of it for me. She went above and beyond and made it feel a lot more personal than just a standard service. Would definitely recommend her to anyone going through a purchase.

Their communication with us was exceptional, always checking in, discussing the market, making sure we were informed at every step through the process. Great communication throughout as well, with a genuine sense of urgency when it was needed. Low fees compared to the bigger firms in Herefordshire but a much more personable service and better outcome

2nd Mar 2026 (5 weeks ago)Would recommend WR Estate Agents to anyone. Scott & Jenny have been fantastic from start to finish with helping with our house sale. Hearing friends experiences with other Estate agents, we were expecting the same but from the first conversation we had with Scott we couldn't fault! WR has such hands on approach and you can really tell they love what they do. The minute a viewing has taken place they will update you to say that they've left the property & how they think it went. You will then get a proper update once the people viewing your house have given WR formal feedback. Every step is communicated & you are never left in the dark. You message on a Sunday evening, you'll get a response. Moving house is a stress for anyone but Scott & Jenny took away any potential stress involving Estate agents & im so happy my husband & I chose WR. Biggest thank you once again & we will continue to recommend WR to anyone we know looking to move??

15th Jul 2025 (8 mo. ago)Overpromised, Underperformed and Untrustworthy – My Costly Mistake with HSD I initially listed my property with PurpleBricks in March 2025 for £535,000. After limited viewings over a three-month period, I began exploring other options and submitted an enquiry to WeBuyAnyHouse. They quickly came back with an offer of £460,000—roughly 14% below asking—claiming it would allow for a quick sale. I immediately declined, as I was not in a rush and didn’t want to take such a significant loss. Shortly after, my details were apparently passed on to House Sales Direct (HSD), seemingly a sister company, without my explicit consent. HSD came across as professional and engaging at first. They promised a 98% success rate in selling properties within 28 days, citing a strong network of pre-approved buyers and investors who could complete within 6–8 weeks. They suggested a sale price spread of £510k–£535k, assuring me they would work to get me the best price possible. It sounded promising. Based on these assurances, I decided to proceed with HSD. I withdrew my PurpleBricks listing—costing me £300—with the understanding that HSD’s investor network would accelerate the sale. But things quickly began to unravel. Despite supposedly having investors lined up, HSD said they needed to relist my property on Rightmove first. When I questioned why investors couldn’t simply view the home, the response was vague. It took nearly two weeks for them to relist, and the new asking price was £525,000. A full week passed without any communication. Then came a call recommending the price be dropped to £499,000. I was told this was “just a marketing tactic,” and that they still aimed to get me a sale within the original £510k–£535k range. But I struggled to understand how listing a property nearly £40,000 lower would achieve that. I asked again about the investors. They finally admitted the only offer received was the same £460k I'd declined weeks earlier through WeBuyAnyHouse. This was when the red flags really began to show. Why wasn’t I told this upfront? Why present an optimistic price range if their investor offer was fixed at £460k from the beginning? Why was I encouraged to pull the property from PurpleBricks if they intended to rely on the open market anyway? I could have just reduced the price there and avoided unnecessary costs and delays. Doing more research online, I found stories from others with eerily similar experiences. It appeared HSD’s real model was to attract sellers with high expectations and then drop the price, relying on open-market tactics to force a quick sale. Despite claiming not to charge commission, they would never clearly explain how they made their money. It seems they may be negotiating higher prices with buyers while offering sellers less—profiting off the gap. No transparency, no trust. Meanwhile, they knew I was paying a high mortgage on an empty property. It became clear they were hoping I’d become desperate enough to accept the same low £460k offer I had already rejected twice. In the four weeks my property was listed with them, only four viewings were arranged. Two were no-shows. Of the remaining two, one viewer stayed for just five minutes—asked no questions and didn’t even view all the rooms. It felt performative, not serious. As expected, neither viewer submitted an offer, despite supposedly being “pre-qualified and keen.” Eventually, I told HSD I wanted to withdraw the property. That’s when I was informed—shockingly—that I had unknowingly signed up for a 52-week contract, and I’d need to pay £1,500 to exit, or £999 if paid within 7 days. I wrote to them, acknowledged that they had done some work, and offered a reasonable £699 exit fee, explaining I needed to rent the home out due to financial strain. They refused and insisted on full payment. I paid the £999 immediately—but it still took a full week and several chasers before they finally removed the property from Rightmove. By the end of the ordeal, it was clear I was no longer a priority for them. In summary: Do I regret choosing HSD? Absolutely. Would I recommend them to someone looking for a fair, transparent, and professional house sale experience? No. If your only goal is to sell quickly and you don’t care about value, they might work for you. But if you want to sell your home at a decent price with a partner you can trust, I strongly advise staying away from HSD.

After visiting numerous properties, and speaking to several different people, I genuinely began to lose faith in not only finding the right place to live, but also the right landlord/agency. That was until I viewed a place with Northwood. From the off they were quick to respond and arranged a viewing within two days. The meeting was informal and relaxed, yet professional. I registered my interest and they got things underway almost immediately. Within a week or so, the contract was signed and moving date arranged. Can't recommend them highly enough thus far.
