4th Sep 2022 (1 year ago)Up to the point when you sign your letting contract and pay move in fees communication is good and agents are helpful. As soon as you sign on the line they can't be bothered. Emails do not get answered Phone calls do not get returned Repairs take weeks to complete My daughter moved out of her flat a month ago. To date we still have been unable to retrieve property the agents insisted on being locked in a room. Multiple emails and phone calls to get our deposit back go unanswered and we are now having to open a dispute with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme to have our money returned. This is so unnecessary and could all be avoided if they would just reply to an email or return a phone.

2nd Apr 2024 (7 weeks ago)I sold my property through the Sevenoaks Branch of Jackson Stops and would thoroughly recommend them. The team are very friendly and professional. They aim to get to know you as well as your property. They like to conduct viewings themselves which leads to a more impartial and honest viewing. Everyone at the office visited the property and talked to me so that they were well informed when showing people around. My contact kept me well informed every step of the process and if they weren't in the office when I phoned everyone else was sufficiently well informed about my sale to answer my questions.

Warm and friendly when we first met her at the property and with all correspondence post that first viewing she has been professional as well as amicable. Being able to contact during a fast paced lettings cycle is so important and after taking my mother in law for a viewing today, Paige was accommodating and had every answer ready which was just superb. A must use for rental and purchases in Sussex
8th Mar 2024 (10 weeks ago)Sold my house today after a year of trying to shift it. 1 buyer fell through, and various other unavoidable issues that come with selling a property with an ex-partner, and here we are! Sam & Matt were invaluable to the whole process. They kept communication up throughout the entire time, especially Sam who dealt with the majority of the issues. Thank you so much to both of you, and the whole team at Philip Jarvis. A whole years worth of work at such a reasonable price. I would 10/10 recommend.

Although Sarah Hunt from the Cranbrook office was the agent for the house we were buying she went beyond the call of duty to assist us with securing a satisfactory outcome. Sarah worked alongside our agent communicating effectively with all parties. She was always courteous and professional and did all she could to speed up the sale. 5th Dec 2023 (24 weeks ago)I would not recommend Mann Ashford. They were not pro active and did not keep in contact to let us know what they were doing in terms of our property. No one answered the phone. They were disinterested and all they wanted to do was reduce the price. Never phoned us we had to phone them. They achieved no viewings on our property. A very poor performance and no service.

We chose Hunters and have not had any reason to question our choice, as they have exceeded our expectations in all areas. We were not local and relied on them to handle all details of viewings etc. Once we had a prospective buyer then they kept us informed of all relevant details relating to the progress of the sale. Nothing was too much trouble and we were pleased that the sale progressed smoothly through exchange of contracts and eventual completion. Thank you all at Hunters.

Jessica, our agent, welcomed us to our first viewing and was very informative about the property, and once we decided to put an offer, we received great support throughout the buying process. It can be very daunting going through the process but with Jessica’s help and recommendations, it was seamless. Communication was always flowing regarding any matter or paperwork, and even when we came across an issue from the developer’s side, Jessica would immediately get onto an email or phone call to get it rectified. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Harrison Jacks. I’m now a home owner and I want to say a big thank you for making it happen!

1st Apr 2024 (7 weeks ago)We have recently completed the sale of my 91-year-old uncle's bungalow through Property Owl. Over the years, I have been involved in selling a number of properties with varying experiences of agents and I have to say that Ammar's service was truly exceptional. My uncle sometimes gets a bit confused about dealing with administrative matters, and Ammar was very patient and thoughtful with him - it was his first house move in 50 years, so very stressful for him. Ammar's kindness and patience was very helpful as we live over an hour away. He also chased the sales process very effectively, liaising with the buyer, the solicitors involved and the sales lady at the retirement complex my uncle moved into; he kept us informed about the progress throughout. He even offered to take cuttings from a bush in the garden, and turned up on moving day to help where he could! Recommended unreservedly - thanks, Ammar!

However Harvey provided great support throughout the process and ensured the transaction came to a close with always a positive attitude. Particularly the unbiased support we got from Harvey as buyers towards a short term let due to delays in buying the property was the most helpful. Highly recommend! Thanks Harvey!
