They handled communication very well during what was a particularly difficult sale with complex circumstances on both sides. Throughout the process, they kept us consistently updated and made sure we were happy at every stage. No request was too much for them, and all leads were followed up promptly. 29th Jul 2026 (1 day ago)Bradley Bates, Connells Yate Branch manager handled the valuation of our property, something that was difficult to accurately do due to the changes in the world at the time. After some careful consideration a marketing strategy was agreed and to our delight the house was under formal offer within 12 hours of going on the market. Bradley's bubbly, attentive personality made interaction with him very easy and making himself available along the process was a bonus. Moving house is a minefield, its clear to see that the Yate team are motivated by Bradley's presence and is a natural leader in the Branch. In a world where Estate Agents get a bad reputation the Yate team worked hard to be transparent and honest. For this we are very grateful. If i am looking for areas of growth for Connells Estate Agents, it would be to review the Solicitors you chose to work with, your recommendation was a bad reflection on your business model, it cannot be worth your effort to do their job and chase their errors all the time?

Tanyas communication and negotiation with the chain when no one was conversing through their solicitors was invaluable and over and above what she should have had to do. Tanya’s unrelenting tenacity, attention to detail and continuous investment in the sale has been outstanding and very much appreciated. I highly recommend Edison Ford…. We are first time buyers and Kathryn, Eira and Wendy were particularly helpful and kind during this process. Kathryn rang us in advance and made sure we had enough time to survey the house properly and both Eira and Wendy were friendly and no question was too silly. We would highly recommend them for anyone looking to get on the property ladder.
31st May 2025 (1 year ago)We used “Which” to find out the best performing local agents, of these we approached Greenwoods first as they have an office within walking distance. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient from the start, and Branch Manager, Phil Marsh, took us through every step of the process. From then on, Phil kept us informed and responded to all of our queries. He consistently provided all the assistance we needed to obtain a sale. We would recommend the Wells Road branch without hesitation.

17th Jul 2026 (13 days ago)Agent did not take any notes and did not revisit before doing the write up for the advertisement he just used large chunks of the previous agent’s brochure. He even included a pond with a bridge over it which we had filled in when we took the house off the market several months before. The photos were not very good and the photographer was uninterested in bringing out the best in the house. There was a mistake in the floor plan listing 4 bedrooms when there are three. Feedback was slow and communication very poor. I even had a prospective purchaser stop me outside the house to say he had to wait to get an appointment to view but had finally got an appointment for the following week. I knew nothing of that appointment as had not been contacted at all. I could go on but that’s probably enough for you to get the picture. We have now taken the property off the market for the foreseeable future

We had a long stressful process due to our buyer and even though Connells weren't acting on behalf of us she always went above and beyond to help us and nothing was ever too much trouble.

Zach kept me up to date and communicated with my solicitor answered e mails out of hours. As this got a bit complicated with the sale at the end, but we got there on the date expected for completion . Thank You
13th May 2026 (11 weeks ago)The agent who dealt with my property was very knowledgeable of the area. However, the price they suggested was obviously over the average which meant we had very little interest. After 12 weeks we only had 2 viewings. It was decided to take the property off the market after the property next door sold for much less. They offered a fair selling price percentage. The pictures were good as was the sales brochure, it was sadly over priced and did not sell.

Thumbs up from us. Update June 2026 Since early 2025, Rich was in touch with buyers who might find out property of interest (we had maintained dialogue with Rich in the village since purchase). As it happened we were thinking of moving again. Rich (Andrews) helped us again - easy process to get house prepared for sale, beautiful brochure and Rightmove content. We had two families view and both wanted it, but one could not proceed. The second bought it and we completed sale earlier this year. Once again, all went swimmingly, great support and dialogue with Rich. We are no longer in the area but wouldn't hesitate to use Andrews again if we needed an agent, and the operated where we needed them ??????
